Some good contacts, about 50/50 Obama and the other guy. But most of the Obama voters had already voted.
But I'm pooped! It's 10 PM, and I'm going to let the west coast people take over.
Tomorrow is Election Day, and the serious calling starts!
Of the handful of calls that went through, I'd say about two thirds had already voted. A good sign.
OK, keep it up team on Monday--let's put this thing away!
OK, the map looks pretty good. If you take the current NYT map, give all the toss ups to McCain, plus PA, our guy still ends up with 270. Scares me. Keep calling!!!!!

Goal: Make calls from 8PM (kid's tuck in time) to 9PM each day this week, 2 hours on Saturday, 3 hours on Sunday.
Plus: I'm going to talk to my boss about taking Tuesday off. NH here I come!!
69 phone calls later... tired but satisfied. The staff and volunteers at the Arlington MA office were great--a real feeling of support and camaraderie. Only disappointment was I mostly spoke to people's answering machines. Thanks especially to Myrna who walked me through a mock call--I was REALLY nervous to start.
Tomorrow and Sunday I'll starting working my N2N list and see if I can talk to some humans!
OK, it's late in the game, but I'm doing my part. I just printed out my list of 30 NH voters to call from home, and I'm going to a phone bank event this afternoon. Putting my day off to work! I'll post later on how it goes.
Wish me luck! I've never done this before.
