To imitate someone is to pay the person a genuine compliment — often an unintended compliment.
This refers specifically to Senator Barack Obama:I guess that he should be very proud of the fact that the McCain campaign has been parroting his words, even verbatim.
This happened during the Hillary Clinton Campaign and is happening again with John McCain. While they tear him down on one hand, and make fun of his better qualities, they take every good thing from how he runs his campaign to his campaign slogan and try to duplicate it -- even his words.
Today (9/15/20080 it was "Enough" used three times by McCain in succession to try to show that he was fed up. I guess one should feel that it is a compliment to have someone copy or imitate your every move, but it is confusing to the public -- actually that is probably what they are trying to do -- confuse the public that they are the same as Senator Obama.
I hope as Senator Obama that the American people are smarter than what John McCain thinks they are.

I am sending this (I am sure you probably have this information, but have refused to share it with the public), not because I have anything against Hillary Clinton (even though I have been very displeased with her dirty tactics in this campaign). I am sending it because Barack Obama has been so kind that he has chosen not to exploit the Clinton's dirty laundry, which they have plenty of. While I really liked Bill Clinton when he was president, and Hillary says he will not run the Whitehouse, I know that he will be very influential, and will use the position for his own personal gain if she were to become Commander and Chief. In addition, Hillary has been involved in some of these dealings personally. We have exploited the Rev. Wright issue so much against Senator Obama and refuse to let it go. Let's be fair and expose the Clinton's as well. The things that have happened before and after their tenure in the Whitehouse are dispicable. The public needs to know what they are in for again.
Thank God he didn't! He knew the truth about the matter and stood firm on his belief.
The news media tried to show comments -- again out of context-- of the things he said in the interview before it was aired -- they put their usual negative spin on it to prejudice people against it before it even came on.
Shame on the news media! Everyone was exposed and Rev. Wright and Senator Obama were exonerated. I trust that this will be enough to stop the negative effect of the ads that the Republicans are going to run next week.
The news media says that it was bad timing for Senator Obama, when in fact it was great timing. I trust that the Obama campaign will pay money to run the entire interview on national tv before every primary.
The news media is still taking the interview out of context and putting a negative spin on it even after it aired.
Hopefully the American people will not take what the media showed in advance of the interview, and will form their own opinion about the matter.
Thank God for answering the prayers of His people in bringing out the truth.

I know that a win is a win. However, I understand that the pollsters were asking people why they were voting (in Pittsburgh)?
Many of them said that they were a part of Operation Chaos and would switch back after the election to vote for John McCain in the fall.
According to a friend of mine, "McCain tactically told his surrogates never to attack Clinton, instead they should relentlessly be focused on Obama."
They wanted her to win so that she would run against McCain and would lose because the Republicans hate her (it would unite the republican party).
They did this in Ohio, Texas and Pennsylvania. They will probably do it in the other upcoming primaries as well.
This is run by none other than Rush Limbaugh (104.7 in Pittsburgh), who makes no bones about the fact that he intends to do this in every primary and is encouraging his listening audience to do it.
He calls Barack Obama the "Magic Negro" or "Messianic Barack", they have called his campaign a cult and the followers have been deceived.It is their sole intent to keep him out of the race. They keep all of the controversy going under the guise of letting the American people know who he really is.
WHY ARE YOU SAYING THAT BARACK OBAMA IS RUNNING NEGATIVE ATTACK ADS WHEN HE IS ONLY RESPONDING TO HILLARY'S NEGATIVE ADS.

Wright then went on to list more than a few U.S. foreign policy endeavors that, by the tone of his voice and manner of his expression, he viewed as more or less deplorable. This included, as has been demonstrated in the endless loop of clips from his sermon, bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki and nuking "far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon and we never batted an eye." "Violence begets violence," Wright said, "hatred begets hatred, and terrorism begets terrorism." And then he concluded by putting the comments on Peck's shoulders: "A white ambassador said that yall, not a black militant, not a reverend who preaches about racism, an ambassador whose eyes are wide open and is trying to get us to wake up and move away from this dangerous precipice... the ambassador said that the people we have wounded don't have the military capability we have, but they do have individuals who are willing to die and take thousands with them... let me stop my faith footnote right there."

On Tuesday, Sen. Hillary Clinton re-stoked the flames of the controversy surrounding Sen. Barack Obama's former pastor, saying she would have long ago distanced herself from Rev. Jeremiah Wright if she had attended his church."He would not have been my pastor," Clinton told a gathering of the campaign press corps, repeating a line she used earlier in the day on a Pittsburgh radio program. "You don't choose your family, but you choose what church you want to attend."
But the pastor at the church that Clinton did once attend has recently expressed public support for Wright. He's even proclaimed it a "grave injustice" to make a judgment on Wright based off of "two or three sound bites," and criticized those who would "use a few of [Wright's] quotes to polarize."
Calling all Christians, Black or White to exercise love and forgiveness. You cannot be forgiven by God if you refuse to forgive others. By this shall all men know that you are His disciples, by your love. It should be contagious enough to touch the hearts of those who are not Christians.What would it say about Barack Obama if he did not forgive his pastor? What kind of Christian would he be?
THE FLORIDA AND MICHIGAN REVOTE
Why does the news media blame the need to fix the issue of the Michigan and Florida revote on the candidates?
The DNC made the rules. The state governors knew the rules as well as the voters, news media--everybody. They chose to ignore them.
Why can’t the DNC stand firm? Why do the voters think that they are being disenfranchised when they knew what was going to happen?
Why is Hillary trying to convince the voters that she cares about them when she disobeyed the rules that she originally agreed to? Now, because she thinks that she is behind, it is advantageous for her to count those votes.
Why does she blame Barack Obama for this mess when she did not respect the DNC rules. She actually went to both of those states and accepted a victory for something that she was not supposed to be involved in.
What does this say about her character? In order to lead well, you must first be a good follower.
It is obvious Hillary has not been a uniter – Barack Obama has.

PLEASE STOP SWAYING PUBLIC OPINION BY PLAYING CLIPS OUT OF CONTEXT.
The news media owes Michelle Obama an apology for playing her comments out of context and making her look unpatriotic. They never play the whole clip and have incited people to believe this claim to be true. This, coupled with Rev. Wright's comments have caused undue problems and stress.
I DEMAND THAT YOU SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT.
