I'm pretty sure the tickets are all gone by now since the media has reported that everything was snatched up within 24 hours, but in the interest of inevitability (meaning if I don't put this info out there it'll come back to me that so-and-so had X number of tickets set aside for people) I thought I'd get this information out there for whoever was interested.

We are calling out the troops to try to win the White House for Barack, and the only way to do this is to win Fairfax County, and then win Virginia!
A key district in all of this is Lee District, full of unregistered Democratic-leaning voters, and Democratic voters who are just not active in their Party. If we're going to win Fairfax for Barack, we need your help.

This year, in this election cycle, something unique is happening in America. We have the chance to turn normally "Red" states "Blue". And we all know this is because of Barack Obama's candidacy that this is possible. Virginia is going to be one of those states in the fall. Our mission is simple in this effort, but it can make all the difference between having a McCain Administration, and an Obama Administration-
We MUST register as many voters as possible. In state after state we've helped to expand the electorate and gotten Barack elected, and more importantly we've given tens of thousands of new voters a voice in their government.
We are planning voter registration events all over Virginia, and especially in Northern VA, both to round out the electorate in the bluest part of the state, and also to send volunteers to the "not so blue" parts.
If you are not currently on a listserv in the Northern VA area, please send me an email and ask to be added to the Voter Reg distribution list, and I'll make sure you get an aggregate list of every voter registration event taking place in NoVA!

Barb Slinker of Alexandria 4 Obama put together a very successful "Postcards to PA" event today at Marshall Library, and with just a handful of women and one man (thanks George!) we managed to write out 229 postcards in just a few hours! And even more were taken home to do!
This is a great, fun way to get together with your fellow Obama supporters, too! So please join us this Thursday evening at Duncan library in Alexandria, or at Tysons-Pimmet Regional library in Falls Church next Sunday afternoon.
Just got this from Rachel Signer and told her we'd get out the word in Alexandria. For all the art lovers out there, this fundraiser is for YOU!
On Sunday, April 13th, ALL SALES FROM Claude's collection of beautifultravel photography from around the world will be going DIRECTLY TOWARD THE OBAMA CAMPAIGN. The hours of the fundraiser are noon to 5 pm.
If you want to organize a carpool to PA, NC, WV or any other state, or if you are looking for a ride to another state so you can help the campaign, please send me an email. Drivers- I need additional info from you for this to be successful!
Also, if you want to plan a trip and don't even know where to begin, please send me an email and I can point you in the right direction.
This race is not over yet, so don't be discouraged. I just donated another $200 to this campaign, and I hope you'll all join me. Even if it's just 5 or $10, each dollar will be another yard sign purchased, another flyer printed, another list of phone calls made.

Your Car Is A Billboard & Silent Rally

Let's remind people that Obama Hopemongers are all over. Nothing makes me happier than driving home from work behind someone who has an Obama bumper sticker like mine, and next to another car with an Obama rally sign in the window.
Place an Obama poster/placard in the rear window of your car and drive about your neighborhood, to work, the store, bank, wherever you go on a daily basis. This silent rally will reach many. Directions to event: Where you live!
Personal Message: VA, MD, and DC are Obama Country, but so is the rest of the U.S. Let's remind people of that!
