Just read on CNN news tape ticker that early voter turnout was about 24.4 million. How come so low when 40 million were expected to vote early? This is definitely scaring me because young voters and new voters are not as enthused about early voting as expected.
Am I getting my news from the wrong source or should we really be concerned about tomorrow's turn out? I have a feeling we are going to lose VA, Indiana and OH - although I must say it is impressive to see so many people turned out to listen to Bruce Springsteen tonight. I hope these people don't sleep in tomorrow!
I cannot imagine how Barack and the campaign feel - especially when I can't stand still thinking of the near future which dawns on us exactly one week tomorrow !!!
I also wonder if (hope really that) the republican party just drives Sarah Palin out of politics because even if in 2016 (no 2012 for her!) she will be a destructive biatchy president and I can only hope that if she is running in 2016 then Hillary Clinton decides to run as well!

Hello, what happened since last week that we are losing ground in the polls? I was totally surprised when Chuck Todd said O'campaign was expecting 100K people to vote in Ohio advance poll but we only got 10K votes!! How many did M camp get?
We should have picked up some ground after CP's endorsement but not even a point? Troubling or just normal?

Did you guys see his interview with Dana Bash of CNN? It is soooo clear he has no idea how to fix the economy and keeps reiterating the talking points. At one point his eyes went blank stare when Dana asked him what he thought of Barack's plans released today.

Wow!!! Leadership really cultivates leaders! I spent a lot of time on youtube today and realized that this campaign - this Obama campaign is not only preaching leadership and bright future ahead for all but is actually, even before securing the w/h creating leaders in the community!
One example that comes to mind is the Barack Obama supporter in Michigan who is, through his gas station, doing everything to promote and support Obama-Biden ticket. He is behaving like a true leader and is lending a helping hand, no matter how small, by making sure his low income neighbours are saving some $ - see video of which one I mean. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gq7boiBsAt4&feature=user now that is a leader cultivating another leader! Obama supporter-99.999% of them are positive, happy, supportive and understanding- see it everywhere, from Will I am to this gas station!
In sharp contrast, McCain supporters are nasty - like this parking lot guy see her http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DHtAe3otZ4 they are mean, nasty and plain ridiculous! If this is not the example of the leadership McCain-Palin will encourage, I don't know what is!
And as I said, most of the ones I have seen, confirm that 110% of McCain supporter is just VINDICTIVE because they are afraid of something they cannot control ... CHANGE... excuse me, let me correct that GOOD AND POSITIVE CHANGE - that is what McCain/Palin supporters are afraid of!

PBS has an online poll posted asking if Sarah Palin isqualified. Apparently the right wing knew about this in advance and were flooding the voting with YES votes. The poll will be reported on PBS and picked up by mainstream media. It could influence undecided voters in swing states. Please do two things -- takes 20 seconds

I am so saddened by the sudden death of one of my favourite newsman Tim Russert! NBC will not be the same without him! I tuned in every week to watch him on “Meet The Press” every Sunday. Even his show “Tim Russert” was something that I looked forward to every Saturday.
Rest in peace my friend! Oh gosh, the last time I felt this awful was when Princess Diana died. She was the 2nd person that I didn’t know who's passing affected me so much. John John was the one to make me sob uncontrollably - I felt his loss for months!
