It is deceptive, it is currently making the rounds, and it has gotten the understandable attention of FactCheck.org:

We don't need this sort of thing. We have plenty of information to use to demonstrate that the “experience” issue is a non-issue. For example, a commenter at Huffington Post wrote the following:
“Clinton has less legislative and elected experience than Obama. Obama has more foreign relations experience than Bill Clinton had when he won office.State Senate experience cannot be overlooked:http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/01/03/AR2008010303303.htmlhttp://www.nytimes.com/2007/07/30/us/politics/30obama.html?_r=4&adxnnl=1&oref=slogin&adxnnlx=1206591241-yqvO2W1CoM98genftOjYkQ&oref=slogin&oref=slogin&oref=sloginHow Obama defied Reid and got ethics reform passed in the Senate:http://www.raisingkaine.com/showDiary.do?diaryId=12761Obama and Clinton's congress records examined:http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/2/20/201332/807/36/458633Obama's Senate Record:http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/2/21/164117/783/290/461422Highlights of Obama's foreign relations work:http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory?id=4344167Obama has had the same consistent message since Law school:http://www.boston.com/news/local/articles/2007/01/28/at_harvard_law_a_unifying_voice/Obama speaks out against Bush's abuse of constitution from his background as a constitutional law Professor:http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n/a/2007/03/30/politics/p132303D74.DTL&type=politicsObama attended Columbia and attained a degree in Political Science, specializing in International Relations. http://www.college.columbia.edu/cct/jan05/cover.php

Why not set up booths outside Bartow Arena so people can volunteer after they leave?
Something?
Is anyone discussing this sort of thing?

If you can't make the meeting at Petes Boyz at 1, or if it is full, please sign up for the meeting at 3.
Thanks, Chet
With a little luck, the majority of delegates will be in our corner.
Thanks to Iowa we now have delegates: Obama-16, Clinton-15, Edwards-14.
By February 5: 117 more delegates will be chosen.
On February 5, Super Tuesday, precisely one month from today: 2064 delegates will be selected, 48% of the U.S. total, more than have ever been selected before, this early:

National effort is important, phone banking for example. Local effort is important.
In many states, registered democrats, only, are allowed to vote in democratic primaries, so as far as the numbers go, in this part of the process, republicans don't count.
Obviously, canvassing young Democrats is worthwhile.
I also hope we consider:
Finding our state party website, becoming a precinct captain or a delegate to the convention.
Just a thought,

Someone needs to talk to Bill about how “inexperienced Kennedy and Lincoln were before they became President.

We might ask ourselves how divisive a Clinton campaign and presidency might be. Republicans hate Hillary and that matters. And can you imagine the old questions the Karl Roves would love to ask:
When did you know about Monica Lewinski and what did you do about it?
Do you agree that your husband lied under oath, deceived the American people, etc
Hillary Clinton's record in the Senate reads like that of a neo-con.
Bill says:
"I don't want a president who's never made a mistake and never had to correct one,"
So, Bill, what mistakes did she make and what has she corrected?

Since 9:30am central time, MSNBC coverage of the Oprah-Obama event is about "race factor", "gender factor", "blacks favor Obama", "South Carolina has a large black population", "women favor Hilary", "Hillary is way up in the polls, can Oprah change that".
They are making me sick.
Please write a short letter to MSNBC about this cynical kind of coverage and that it is misinformation.

Is anything being done in this area on the 9th? It seems to me that a few people with lap tops and access to this site might do a lot of good.
and the cynical way candidates are often portrayed, even in the liberal press:

I found this:
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2007/12/5/204340/319
a helpful way to discuss the "experience issue".
Are you canvasing Oct. 13? What does that involve?
What is the meeting on Oct. 6 about?
I've been involved with the Huntsville group. I'm interested in yours.
It will be at the Furniture Factory Bar and Grill, 539-8001. Plenty of room. Everyone welcome.
I believed it is just south of Pratt and Meridian behind Sherwin & Williams Paint.
I hope not. Anyone know?
I just sent this question to Campaign Headquarters. I'll let this group know the response I get.
