Lily Will Vote. Thank you SO much Minnesota.

Hello.

A couple of weeks ago, I used the phone banking tool to reach voters in Minnesota. I contacted a voter who was not home, however the voter's grandmother answered the phone. She is 80 years old and she wishes to vote for Obama, but she has a walker and needed a ride to her polling place. She told me where she lived and if I could find her a ride, she would be proud to cast her vote for Obama. I sent out emails and called Minnesota HQ's. I received overwhelming responses from you all, eagerly willing to drive Our Lily to the polls. A day later I received two calls from two different Minnesota Obama HQ's, specifically Lisa from Minneannapolis whom left a message and I later spoke with. I also spoke with from fellow blogger RTV in St. Paul who responded in O-mail (you Ba-ROCK man!!), before I spoke with any Obama workers in MN who was also a load of help.

I sent out many emails of which many of you responded to offering Ms. Lily Mae a ride. Thank you so much Obama supporters for your persistence. You all are an awesome bunch!!! I have spoke with Lily and she is very gracious to you all!!!

I will give Lily and Lisa in the MN HQ another call on Sunday to be sure everything is set up properly.

Point: Lily Mae in MN will vote. Infact, I think Lily will have 3 rides to the polls lined up for her lol. ;-)

It's a Win/Win for Obama

I agree that the stakes should be kept high for McCain. That is natural with the strong losing nature of his failing campaign from now until November.

However a point: I think the format for the debate tonight will be better for Obama. Like when he "rolls up his sleeves" at rallies. These moments are good moments (interacting with the people). We all know Obama does very well with answering questions, and he showed he can be non-professorial last debate. Obama only has to "do well" and be his normal self to beat McKeating. Mc has a tendency of being stupid, forgetful and angry and I think that's what we'll see tonight folks. ;-)

I am so proud to be supporting such a lovely pair, and such a beaultiful family. Watching you two makes me melt. You can see the love, respect and connection when watching your interaction with eachother. You both are so lucky to have one another.

Well done Senator Biden. My response to the debates:

I got to know Joe Biden more than ever tonight. I felt like he was talking directly to me. I saw sincerity in him. He and Obama truely understands us and what we need to make our lives easier.

Obama was Presidential

Obama spoke out forcefully and made his case for middle class. McCain gave no clear plan about how he can change the direction of this country. He complimented Mc, as he has always complimented his opponents. Why? He is truthful, and he gives credit where it is due. Just because Mc was patronizing, and didnt look at him does not mean Barack had to stoop to his tiny level. He remained Presidential. Not to mention, Obama has to display some type of bipartisanship. IMO It worked.
Obama clearly looked better than Mc.

Finally some truth out the old fella. While watching this scary video of McSame on war in Iran and foreign policy, he falsely claims that he did "un-armed walk-throughs" in Baghdad, and many other delusions. When asked about what the American people wants, the maverick answers without shame, and contempt: (quote) "I disagree with what the American people want...." . He was telling NO LIE when he said that!!!

So I wonder. Who wants a president that doesn't care what WE, the American people want??? He is showing that his quest for the highest office is nothing more, than a dream fulfillment. How could one be running for POTUS and admit such a thing?

The other day I befriended Mark in FL, a former Hillary staffer, who just came on board th O-train. He proved that our kindness from the Obama camp goes a long way. We should continue to be positive and engaing to the Hillary supporters, we need to move on in unison. He sent me this email:

"Cee,

Thank you so much for you words. I want you to know that a lot of these words get back to Senator Clinton and many of her staffers and supporters, and they all mean so much to her and her supporters. I just read your message to Hillary and it was amazing. (Link below) I have forwarded it to a few people within the Clinton campaign who I knew would enjoy it, including the senator herself. It's words like yours that makes us feel so welcome, it's words like yours that make us know that we will be so unified in November, it's words like yours that make this very difficult time so much easier.
Senator Clinton was fighting so hard because she knew this was an historic campaign, she did not want to let anyone down, but trust me, from this point on she will be that fighter that you have seen, she will fight with us all to elect Barack Obama to the White House.
