This continues to be an alarming state of affairs. I have copied this link from Huffington Post in hopes that someone in HQ or ? can do something about it or is already doing something behind the scenes so that we don't wind up with Sarah Palin and her sidekick John in the White House by FRAUD as usual.

The reality of the Obama campaign is that we have NOT had 25 years to 'get to know him' and then forget what he stands for. What he stands for has been front and center for the past year and one half. It is exhausting to be fed honor, integrity, right-use-ness, accountability, truth, respect and pride in an honorable country that does right by itself as well as its neighbors. It is just too high a standard to hang our coat on. Yet, it is the only standard we are left with in our arsenal of survival for a free future.
Every action he has taken has been for the improvement and guarantee of our freedom and reclamation of our constitution. He has been a phenomenal success to date. As a reward, thus far, we have insisted he be punished by us, his own people, "how dare he show us how to make our lives better through our own accountability and good deeds." I thank God every day for Stanley Ann Dunham and her mother for building a man capable of saving our country and our planet.
My life and my childrens and grandchildrens lives are dependent on Barack Obama winning this nomination for President. I was born in 1941. I lived too long and in too much suffering as a single mother, without health care, often two and three jobs-- the list is long and familiar for women who craved change in the great generation and were denied. I fought too hard for equality and safety for my children and I.
I know first hand what all these prior Administrations "have done for us lately". I lived through their paganism and ignornance and greed-- I listen to their vile lies now as they campaign against Obama. I knew them when they were young. I watched each one create disturbance nationally and globally and turn their backs on us as a populace to line their coffers.
Obama gave me hope as NO candidate EVER has. I have been very ill for over 4 years, and though house-bound I walked in the cold rainy weather (knowing I would engage pnuemonia again) to my very first caucus, ever, for Obama. I had to make sure I was savy to caucus' and offer my help in some way. Being a long time Republican, I contacted the Democratic headquarters to ensure my vote for him.
The treacherous games currently playing out-soothe savage egos of the naive and place us in DANGEROUS waters. Reminders of ancient Rome; its coliseum for sports bloodletting and Caligula moving his thumb. This is not ok!!
If one can relate to someone, then they are 'like' them. To that "60%", slowness and soundbite machine is what they are use to. A soundbite machine mentality is less reliable and accountable and certainly lacks integrity. What is the 60% comprised of? 1,000 autocalls?
Not being seasoned politicians we cannot grasp the trickery and deceit during an election. It is obviously about character assination and stealing elections.
This campaign is moving in the right direction ONLY because it is grassroots and millions of us at 100% empowerment are finished with crimes in the White House and Congress and this is the ONLY way to change everything!!
Just to emphasize our need to keep the truth front and center, stopping the blaggards from criminalizing our voting system any further. Concerned citizens ban together and we as a nation of grassroots change can clean up this ugly criminal act executed by the current president, G.W.Bush.
Yes, we can all be educated to protect our vote - and there are also people who can clean up and reverse what has and is currently taking place. This was going on in the primary's -- it CANNOT continue. The grassroots got this far; leave no stone unturned. Every vile thing Bush and McCain are doing and have done can be rectified-put on your thinking caps, think outside the box, where we have WILL we have WAY.
Why aren't we praying (as a campaign) regularly for Obama like we did in the primaries. This is hostile territory with all the jealousy and sound bite competitors. I am sure plenty of us are praying singularly, but I would like to start up the sequence prayer circles again. Who is in charge of that?
How do we get this started up?
I copied this from Eyes On Obama site, I liked it so much, I wanted more people to read it. I didn't do a very good job of transferring it - but it here now and I hope you read it. J. Wilkes wrote the blog. You will find it there if this doesn't transfer very well. I placed the quotes on it because I didn't write it.
"The most highly regarded leaders in our nation's history- no matter on what side of the aisle one looks- all have something in common when it comes to their statesmanlike demeanor in discussions of foreign policy. Strong and austere, politicians from Washington to Reagan developed reputations as powerful negotiators, in part because they approached issues with a sense of national dignity and respect for the severity and gravity of the stakes.
But in that regard, GOP presidential nominee John McCain couldn't be more dissimilar.
McCain's tirades on the Senate floor are legendary. His foul language and crass jokes at the expense of everyone from fellow Republicans to the daughter of the sitting president are infamous. His brutal treatment of colleagues and subordinates is notorious.
To some extent, his campaign has labored to frame the issue, at times characterizing his temper as evidence of his passion, at others offering outright apologies. But when his transgressions are laid out side by side, the disregard McCain shows for the cool, collected manner of his predecessors while on the international stage is nothing short of alarming.
Over his quarter of a century in elected office, McCain has developed consistent history of eruptions in the midst of diplomatic efforts.
Begin with the incident most recently brought to light, by Mississippi Republican Senator Thad Cochran, a McCain supporter no less (albeit, one who only begrudgingly supported his colleague after he'd sealed the nomination). During a meeting at the height of US-South American tensions in 1987, McCain reached across a table to physically assault a dignitary from the Nicaraguan delegation. Cochran recalled McCain grabbing the man by his shirt collar, "to tell him what he thought about him or whatever."
But track back further. When asked back in April whether or not he would take military action against Iran, McCain broke into song, "Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran," McCain intoned to the beat of the Beach Boys' "Barbara Ann."
Just two months earlier, McCain tossed out another gem, this time wishing death upon a foreign leader. Speaking on Cuban-American relations, McCain said of Fidel Castro, "I hope he has the opportunity to meet Karl Marx very soon." Now, let's be fair: Castro has been a tyrannical thorn in the side of democracy for decades. But think back to World War II and try to find an instance when Franklin Roosevelt or Winston Churchill publicly joked about the death of Adolph Hitler. I'll save you the time: you won't find it. The point is not whom the subject of such a comment happens to be; rather, it's a matter of decorum that McCain has routinely eschewed.
To an extent, McCain's blow-ups would be unprecedented had they taken place in the Oval Office. It raises the question of whether his uncontrolled irritability is becoming of an American president. At best, his outbursts and fits of rage have been unstatesmanlike- at worst, they've been the ranting fury of a fool with a temper.
This isn't a partisan issue. Had Reagan grabbed and accosted a Soviet diplomat at the height of the Cold War, there's a good chance it wouldn't have stayed cold. Had John Kennedy joked about blowing Cuba into oblivion during the Missile Crisis, who knows whether or not the standoff would have ended with a nuclear holocaust? Had Harry Truman publicly ridiculed the Japanese during World War II, it's possible that they would have been even more reluctant to surrender, dragging the war in the Pacific Theater out an additional 6 months or year, and costing the lives of thousands of additional American GIs.
It took me a few moments to understand that I had seen this "movie" before; Bob Schieffer's contrived indignation on behalf of his alter ego, John McCain. This ALL happened in the primaries; Obama vs. Clinton. Silly, silly misconstruing an answer for a knife wound and crying "Alert-Dangerous Assassin".
Thank heavan I lived through all of it in the primaries - to recognize McCain and his cronies apparently doing ONLY what they know as 'politics'. What a shame. I keep waiting for clever, intelligent presentations from the Republican side including their news rep's. How did people get so d-u-m-b? Or, is it sold-out? Toss up!
Newsflash! McCain is not qualified to be President, I am sure he is not even a very good Senator, take a deep walkabout through Arizona. Wes Clark has said several times on TV what millions of us have said and KNOW TO BE TRUE-being shot out of the sky doesn't qualify you to be PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES. We really need and require much more, "Bob and John". Pick an issue, McCain fails. This country is about US. This campaign is about US. We are a Republic and it is our nation and we have ONE CANDIDATE running for US. Everyone else seems to think it is about 'them'.
Of one thing I am sure, EVERYONE wants Obama for President, he is simply out there convincing them he is their 'color'. Amazing isn't it? He has all the answers and capability to clean it up and upgrade our entire nation, he loves God, his wife and children, his past is clean, his heart is pure and he is strong and intelligent enough to lead us. He sees in TRUTH and decodes it for those who have stubborn marked on their forehead.
So, thank you Wes Clark for just being you and staying that way when the chickens in the coop explode at your audacity to tell it like it is.
I read where our President, Senator Obama, is reaching out to funders to help Hillary with her bills to the tune of $10MM. Even though her wounds are self inflicted-she may never realize it and this recent scenario has taught me a valid lesson in love. "All We Need Is Love". Otherwise we are in a stalemate.
The man with the Olive Branch. Our economy is a disaster, corruption has reigned its terror with the NeoCons at the helm. Oh yes, and, the globe is "burning". Oye! Yet, to soothe the nation he must first soothe his 'party'. It is "all" someone elses 'fault' but he has the solutions and capability to organize the frays - stabilizing the situation and moving us forward.
I am so grateful Obama chose to run for President and that I am alive to see it all.
Did Donna Brazile ever endorse Barack? I don't recall her ever doing that.
It proves the Democrats are changing the landscape of the seats in Congress. Democrats are taking back the White House even before Obama takes charge of the Oval office. People are thinking Democrat now - and Republicans are losing their long coveted position(s).
Can Obama clarify this? Media gets a lot wrong -- but this won't die. The author is T. Edsall who won't let up (this is the third day in a row-with his re-writes of the same subject) that Obama is looking for ways to help her campaign out financially. This is a bloddy nightmare.
The case is pretty simple - why do the grassroots donate to Obama if it is going to Hillary? Please someone with authority reply?
Thanks
It is publically apparent now that the Clinton campaign never was about anything but personal power to rule - she is so 'Castro' ca. 1960's.
Somewhere in her current chaos as usual - is the truth. We the American people are voting to take our country back - that is the majority of us are. It is up to each one of us - undividually - recognizing our rights (what is left of them) to fairly judge who authentically has OUR best interests at their core and is capable of making the right choices for our country, including how we relate to the rest of the world. This is NOT the 1990's and earlier anymore, we are A GLOBAL force in a very vulnerable position thanks to the Clintons and the Bushes.
Distraction from the campaign of chaos - switching horses in the middle of the stream continually, does not take us where we want to go or should go for our country's highest survival.
A Global identity is way beyond tribal warfare; race, religion, cults, cast systems. In order to function successfully one really must rid themselves of these pests of the past socities. There is no room to keep arguing about dead issues. Ignorance has no room anymore if one wants to go forward.
Live in NOW - save your country - watching the Clinton circus is like contemplating your navel when you don't understand why you are doing it!
I just read a blog on Huffington Post that says Obama may be willing to pay $11.4 million to Hillary plus some other nonsense if she will step down now. Please tell me that is not true. we are a grassroots campaign - if we wanted to donate to her - we would. This is not fair, I hope someone in HQ jumps on this fast.
