I'm writing about my concern over super delegates. The failure of super delegates to vote for the candidate who wins the majority of the popular vote constitutes a betrayal of the public trust. It certainly cannot be defined as government of, for, and by the people. When we voted for those delegates we did not give them our consent to change our choice for President, nor to govern us in perpetuity. And I don't need anyone to tell me what's in my best interests. Delegates, super delegates and the Electoral College should all be done away with. This government is systematically stripping American citizens of our power, and of our rights, and I am truly frightened by it. No one has the right to determine who is going to govern us, except us. That's what democracy means...rule of the majority... and no one has the right to violate that tenet. The people we elect to office are our public servants. We pay their salaries, we put them where they are, and their duty and obligation is to us, the citizens of the United States.
