My daughters who are in their late 30s call me the obama momma. One voted for Hilary and one plans to vote for McCain. I went to the poles with my arm in a cast to cast my vote in the rain. I voted for oboma because I believe wisdom trumps experience. Honesty trumps experience and so do transparency and compassion. My family and I don’t exactly fit the mold that has been laid out to reprduce obamaites but each of us holds an advacnced degree we are all white married and living in the Midwest. My wrist was broken at the Obama rally in st. Louis sat. night. I FEEL BAD FOR THE LADY WHO THOUGHT SHE WAS THE ONE WHO PUSHED ME BECAUSE I WAS MOVING ALSO AFTER SOMEONE TOOK MY PICTURE> I SPENT THE REST OF THE EVENING AT ST> ANTHONY”S HOSPITAL< HAD SURGERY SUN AM AND WENT HOME ON MONDAY> LET ME ADD A COUPE MORE IDEAS> PERMIQUIS BEHAVIOR< NOT HOMOSEXUALLITY IS THE REASON AIDS HAS OVERTAKEN US HERE IN THE US> I believe stable relationships like marriage are a deterrent to the spread of aids, THE SAME SEX COUPLES I KNOW ARE NO DIFFERT THAN HETRO COULES IN THER PERSONAL NEEDS> also, obama is the candidate who reminds us that we can work together to achieve goals that would be impossible taken piece meal in our own stereotypical groups. My daughter, who voted for Hilary, told me that I had succeeded in influencing them because we raised them to think for themselves. So sorry my computer has a mind of it’s own as well. Carol

Does anyone remember King Hussein of Jordan?

Does anyone remember King Hussein of Jordan? Just speaking from memory, he was a very wise and compassionate leader, one of the US's strongest allies. After he was widowed, he met and married the beautiful daughter of an American diplomat. Queen Noor gave up her own country to fully embrace the people of Jordan. After his death, she wrote a biography which gave insight into his character as a man.

The traits the two politician's share should be boldly and proudly highlighted unanimously by everyone working in Oboma's campaign. Both the King and his American Queen were greatly beloved by the people. The last I knew she had opted to stay in Jordan to continue to work as they had when she and her husband served as a team.

The finest endorsement Obama could have would be her endorsement on behalf of her husband.

Here is a man who speaks with confidence because he tells the truth. The man who stammers, grins and questions the question, (Bush) does not know the truth himself. A man who does not know the truth cannot tell the truth to others. If anyone had taught us as we were growing up that telling half-truths would erode our consciences, that we would not be able to tell a truth from a lie, that we would also believe that it didn't matter; we might have prevented a generation of "bushs" from dominating the political landscape.

But what is done now leads to consequences we as a nation must face. To redeem the time, Remember manipulation and half-truth will always be the enemy of justice in a democracy.

Now let's choose the color of our president

How about someone who looks like the majority of the people on our planet, the majority of whom are bent on distroying a great many others.

Isn't it true that it is easier to relate to, negociate with and trust someone who looks like you?
