It all comes down to this. We are in the final week of the campaign and voters across the state have already received their ballots. We need your help to get every Obama supporter to cast his or her ballot to bring change to Washington. We can’t do it without you!
There are three ways you can help in this final week:
1. Volunteer at Your Local Campaign Office
No experience is required. All you need to do is sign up for a shift at your local office and then show up and make phone calls or go door-to-door talking to voters. In every campaign office across the state we have several shifts each day between now and Election Day so you can volunteer when it’s convenient for you. Sign up for your shift now at: http://my.barackobama.com/page/content/WAGOTVShifts/.
2. Volunteer From Your Home or Neighborhood
If you can’t make it to your local campaign office, you can make phone calls from home or go door to door in your neighborhood with the Neighbor-to-Neighbor program – no experience is required. Everything you need to know about this program is online. Sign up for Neighbor-to-Neighbor here: http://my.barackobama.com/modules/votercontact/login_signup.php.
3. Be sure Your Friends and Family Vote
Please be sure all your friends, family, and colleagues get their ballots in as soon as possible or get to the polls on Tuesday, November 4th. Forward this video where Senators Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell provide voting tips for Washington State, including how to fill out mail-in ballots and find your polling location: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_lTzP6sjqk
If you have any questions or have a great story to share with the campaign, please e-mail us at washington@barackobama.com.
We look forward to hearing from you!

Hello Fellow Supporters,
It’s been quite a week here at the campaign! With only 19 days left until Election Day, we need your help more than ever. If you’ve never volunteered before, now’s the time to come to one of our trainings.
1. Volunteer for Get Out The Vote Activities
Sign up for specific GOTV time slots to canvass, phone bank, bring food for volunteers, or volunteer your time on Election Day. In every campaign office across the state we have several shifts each day between October 16th and Election Day so you can volunteer when it’s convenient for you. Sign up for your shifts at: http://my.barackobama.com/page/s/gotvsignup.
2. Volunteer on Neighbor to Neighbor
Sign up to volunteer on your own time. Go to www.my.barackobama.com/n2n to phonebank or canvass your neighbors. You can generate a list of your neighbors without coming into the campaign office.
Washington State Campaign Director
I’m Carol Albert, Washington State Director for Obama for America. This week we are hosting numerous events to reach out to undecided voters in Washington State. The election is fast approaching, so it is crucial that Obama supporters like you talk to every undecided voter in our state. Together, we can ensure that Barack Obama is elected the next President of the United States.
This week, we are kicking off our Women’s Week of Action with a Statewide Canvass Day. Join other members of your community to reach out to women in your area and tell them why you support Senator Obama. On Wednesday, September 24th we’ll be hosting a Women for Obama Phonebank Night where you can team up with other female supporters in your local field office to call undecided women.

If you can’t make it to one of our Women’s Week of Action events there are still ways to get involved. We’ll be rolling out a new feature on our popular Neighbor to Neighbor program. Women can sign up to get phone numbers of undecided female voters in Washington and call them to discuss why they support Senator Obama. You can also volunteer at one of our Voter Registration Drives that are taking place across the state.
