The McCain news today about his 7 houses touches greatly on his wealth, and yet I have
not read a single article about the amount of energy he is wasting in maintaining the estates.
How can he claim to be in touch with Americas needs for our energy crisis when he is a part of the problem???
Does anyone have a link to any articles that touch on this mammoth point?
thanks!

It's funny that the media hasn't noted that since the PA primaries, Barack Obama has picked up over 100 new endorsements from all across the political spectrum- as well as more superdelegates.
However, since the PA primaries, his opponant has picked up ZERO endorsements (according to her website) and ZERO new superdelegates.
Dear Barack Obama,
Although I doubt you have much time to read the blogs on this website, I felt compelled to write to you with HOPE that you will read this letter from me to you.
I am an at-home mom with 3 children, all boys. My husband works for the city as a firefighter and together we are trying to raise our children to be honest, loyal and proud. You represent our ideals and core family strengths.
Both my husband and I cannot thank you enough for approaching the recent remarks against your campaign with speed and sincerity. These attributes are a rare gem in campaigns. Most often I've witnessed candidates trying to brush important questions under the rug as they change the subject. To us, your approach is the finest form of transparency.
As a firefighter working still without a contract, it is only his word that he will be there to work and help families in need. We feel the same about you and value that pact. You too will have many fires to put out along the way and when you are elected. Actions based on your word- your promises- and there isn't a doubt that your vision will only be second to your performance in office.
Please stay as focused as you have been so that we may be more able to afford gas, groceries and heat in our brutal winters - with the advent of your presidency. We once took so many basic items for granted, much like the people of America thought they could take homes for granted. We feel fooled by the current administration. 7 years ago we thought America would be a better place by now. This week was evidence enough that everybody was wrong. Those who predicted our economic woes, the key advisors, had the ability to persuade our current president for change- and instead gave him a pat on the back for spending so much money outside of our own country. I'm sure that our current president has no idea how much milk and cereal are today.
Mr. Obama, I do fear my boys going to Iraq when they are of age. I support our troops, not the war, and have seen too many mothers cry when their children are killed fighting this war.
We do need change now and you have given us HOPE. Thank you for being a positive role model for my children. We're proud to have voted for you in our senate, and are proud to have you upholding the integrity of this election.
Respectfully,
Bridget K. Hermann
Girl in Clinton Ad Supports Obama
Former Senate Democratic leader Tom Daschle of South Dakota, an Obama backer, mocked the idea."It may be the first time in history that the person who is running number two would offer the person running number one the number two position," Daschle told "Meet the Press."

OBAMA WON TEXAS! I just did the math on the poll results to double check for myself. When will media pick up on this one? LOL
Primary, Obama 61 delegates, Clinton 65 delegates
Caucus, Obama 38 delegates, Clinton 29 delegates
TOTAL: OBAMA 99 delegates to CLINTON 94 delegates
Am I wrong??? I don't think so! :)
HE WON! YES WE CAN!!! Heres the link to this sites result center, see for yourself! http://origin.barackobama.com/resultscenter/
In the light of the recent press on divisive campaigning, this win was more than a 12 delegate situation. The opponant knew she wouldn't have the ability to compete based on her own history in that state. Same for the next to-be victory on Tuesday. Obama knows there is no such thing as second class American citizens. We are all one America. We need to change the steriotypes set in Washington, especially within this historical election year.
I was suprised tonight to see the face of the young blond girl on CNN showing her support for Obama. The young blond, that is, who unwillingly was used for the 3 AM commercial with old footage when she did work as an extra. I had to laugh!
What irony of today and what hope of tommorrow. I am so proud to be able to blog on this wonderful and uniting site. Thank you Mr. Barack Obama for every word you say and remember how proud we all are of somebody who turns the other cheeck when need be.
