I am so proud to be supporting a candidate that I believe can and will create change in our government.
My grandmother, a devout Democrat, passed away last week at the age of 89. I am happy to say that she had expressed her support for Barack Obama in the weeks prior to her death. She was not ill and still had a clear, reasoning mind. If an 89 year old grandmother could recognize the potential of this man to bring about something good and real to this country, who was I to question this. She was always praising the Clinton's thoughout these long, long Bush years, so I was surprised to learn she supported Barack.
I am so inspired by Obama's words that I feel are more than that, mere words. I believe his sincerity and know that he would be a strong leader and more importantly would tell the American people the truth, good or bad. I am hoping for continued success in Super Tuesday and am looking forward to the day when Obama is nominated by the Democratic party at the National Convention!
