Anyone seen this note about BO's prayer note that was published by an Israeli paper. Though this was meant to be private and "sacred" I think it is plus for BO. The prayer is reproduced below and the link Lord,Protect my family and me. Forgive me my sins and help me guard against pride and despair.Give me the wisdom to do what is right and just. And make me an instrument of your will.

Lord,
Protect my family and me. Forgive me my sins and help me guard against pride and despair.
Give me the wisdom to do what is right and just.
And make me an instrument of your will.

I was speaking to a lady today about the primaries and she mentioned that She was supporting Hillary Clinton until the smearing tactics begun. She then begun to rethink her support for Hillary.
She admitted she admires Barak Obama and his policies but she couldnt relate to his name - his name was putting her off. So she started to think of the republicans, and it looked like Hukabee was appealling to her because of his ethics however, she was again put off by his support for the Iraq war. And yet she couldnt bring herself to support Obama because of his name even though she likes the inspiration and hope that he brings; and his policies which are very similar to Clinton's. She added though that, Hillary seems to have cooled down now. So what to do? Confused!
I then decided to explain to her what Barak means: Barak is a swahili word for Blessed. In fact it is such a powerful word in Africa that several tribes use it in greetings of honor and respect. Others use it in a way that could mean "thank you" in English for acts of kindness.
Barak is similar to a biblical term "Beracah" meaning the valley of blessing.
After sharing this with her, She, decided she is taking her whole family to vote for BO come superTuesday.
I wonder though, how many people out there, admire BO and his policies and would have voted for him but for his name?
Go OBAMA
