If I lived closer to Arizona, I would start a protest to this? Utter disrespect, and I am surprised, because didn't we "WIN" Arizona? Anyway, I wish I could ask our current administration, to use their contact list, and ask that every single resident, voter, student, donor, anyone remotely associated with the State Of Arizona, to write to your Managing Editors, of local News Papers, contact Orgs, that donate money, send out E-Mails to other Obama supporters about this.

I have taken up the job of providing food for the volunteers, staffers, and potential out-of-state volunteers, who may come to GOTV, for the last couple weeks of this election. Basically it is to provide one square meal for 15-20 people, just for one day, at our "Obama General Election Headquarters Office" in Bozeman. If my plan works, this is what will happen.
I am trying to build a new list, of "Obama Food Peeps" and if I get 30 (I already have 17 new) I only need to request for them to cover ONE day, from Oct 1st through Nov 3, and then....we CELEBRATE! But not before we win! Now, the race is dangerously close, One point or less, in the battleground states. 1 point or 2, overall. So, if you decide to sign up with me, as a new "Obama Food Peep" perhaps, while you are in the office, you can make a few phone calls, or do some canvassing, which they are really pushing for now.
This election is up to you, and I don't just mean your vote. Your enthusiam....shared...your time, just a little, whatever you can spare. And if you are a good cook, the kind of person that people always enjoy seeing at a local Pot-Luck? Let that be your contribution.

Some good news. Much needed, I suspect. "The Palin Effect" still seems to hold us one point away from McCain! CRAZY-MAKING! But, here is some good news, and I suspect there wil be a BIG surprise, for our opponents, on November 4th!
I've not been posting much, because my new motto, is "Every Waking Moment" how can I help the campaign, in the most efficient, and expediant way! Who is Sarah Palin, oh well, I will try to tell you quickly, she is McCain's new V.P pick, a Woman, mother of five, gun slingin' moose eatin' ariel serial slayer of Wolves, against stem cell research, anti abortion, even in cases of raper & incest, pork-barrel spendin' (750 million for her state alone!) Against sex education in schools, (that worked well for her pregnant teen-age daughter?) Was for the "Bridge To Nowhere" before she was 'against' it! Has been a governer for less than two years, in a State that is less populated than Montana (per capita) Oh, and her foreign affairs qualifications, Alaska is geographically located, the closest to Russia??? Say What???? Was major to a town of 9,000 people! WOOWHOOOO!!!!
What frightens me, is that people (mostly women of course) are lapping her up, like a hungry puppy! I thought his choice was "SO" transparent, he was in a *pinch* afraid of losing, and viola, Sarah Palin, is his answer!
The reason I want a paper, is for my 88 year-old Step-Father who is the oriiginal Obamacin, he does not, and will never have, a computer. He and my dear Mother, sent me to "Invesco Field" and I owe him this, at the very least.

Here is my "Letter To The Editor" It started out about twice a long, but they have a 300 word-count-maximum! Imagine!
“My Badge Of Honor!”
My journey started around February 1st 2008, in the privacy of my own home. I became very interested in the Barack Obama campaign, and began by making phone calls, starting a “My Barack Obama Blog” joining groups, and making friends, all across this Nation. I then found myself in Austin Texas, working the Texas Primary. I helped to open both Offices in Bozeman, for our Primary, and then a new Office, for our General election.
And then the most amazing thing happened. I was chosen as one of the extremely lucky few, to get one of those coveted tickets, to attend Barack Obama’s acceptance speech, in Denver @ “Invesco Field!” I couldn't afford the travel expenses, but, as it turned out, I was to go, compliments of my dear sweet Mother (84) and her husband, the original "Obamacin!" (A life long Republican, now a huge Obama supporter, he is 88!)
It was spell-binding, exciting, thought provoking, moving! It made you weep, and laugh-out-loud, and feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude & pride! Grateful that this man, with a much more unlikely journey than I, came along at the right time, with all the right qualities, and has the vision, and the courage, and given the chance, will turn this Nation around. Renew our World-Wide respect, heal our weakened economy, create a fair and comprehensive healthcare system. End our seemingly endless dependency on foreign oil, and carefully end, the war in Iraq.
As I un-pack, and try to rest, after my most recent, unlikely journey, to “Invesco Field” I find myself in awe. Sometimes the stars line up just right, and then……it is magic.

I just recently found out, I am coming to The Convention! Well, more presicely, I am coming to "Invesco Field" for Barack's Acceptence Speech! I got one of ths coveted *Free* tickets that they saved for exceptional volunteers, I feel like I won the lottery!
Anyway, I had to *Hussle* to find a Hotel Room, Rental Car, and Flight, but I managed to do it all!
I rented a Suite, just "9" miles from "Invesco Field" @ "The Holiday Inn Express" in Wheat Ridge. I was amazed it was available (luck, God, not sure!) but it is rather expensive, as you could imagine. I am paying over $400.00 just for the two nights, so would like to share it, but so far, just me!
I am also looking for a convienent Obama Headquarters, so I can pop in, and don't know my way around Denver "AT ALL" so if someone could give me a contact number, and address, that would be GREAT!

I KNEW this was coming, and will be our biggest challenge, so much so, that I carry around any & all info, talking-points, I can find on where Barack actually stands on "The Second Amendment" I encourage you all to be open to talk about it, discuss it at length, and press the point that Barack is a "Constitutional Law Professor!" He could quote The Constitution, in his sleep! He was also a "Civill Rights Attorney!" He is not taking ANYTHING away!
I am certain there will be more talking-points available, in th months to come. I would encourage you ALL to print them out, carry them with you everywhere, and open a dialoge. If I was living in San Francisco, (where I am from) this would obviously not be the issue, but it is here, it sure will be here!

*Pinch Me!* I have a Rental Car, that two day stay in "The Holiday Inn Express" Only ten miles from the event...My flight booked, and a 'free' ticket to "Invesco Field" on August 28th! I am BEYOND....excited! Please keep in mind, I have room for three more peeps, in my Hotel Suite!

Only ten miles from the stadium, in Denver! I booked it for the night before Barack's Speech, August 27th, and that night, and then to return home, on August 29th.
It is too much room for me, holds up to four people, and is $212.02 per night, but I thought I should 'grab' it! I don't even know if I have a ticket yet, but am acting as if!!! And feel that my chances are good! My headquarters put in a good word for me!
If I DONT get a ticket to the rally, I want to save, and make available this reservation, for anyone going to the rally in Denver, but can not find a Hotel Room! The closest one I could find was 47 miles away, until this one opened up, unexpectingly!
So, let me know, if: A)You have a ticket, and no place to stay, or B) Want to take the entire reservation over, I think we could do it on a conference call.

We are going to decorate our vehicles, & boats, and take advantage of the opportunity, of the hundreds of people that converge there, every Week-End...ALL summer, to Beat-The-Heat! It is rather a 'right of passage' in "Gallatin Valley" to float the Madison, for about nine miles. The drop in is called "Head Waters" the get out is called "Black's Ford"
I have what looks like Back-Stage-Passes, of Barack, in that cool "HOPE" Poster, that hang around your neck, with the words "Hope Floats" on top, for volunteers, that want to actually sign up voters, or early and absentee apps.
I even found bubbles today, (probably left over from The Fourth Of July) in Red, White, and Blue Bottles, with the American Flag perched on top!
