Michelle Obama did a nice job on her convention speech. It made liberal use of cliches, yes, but she got her message out quite casually. The story of her father really tugged at the heart strings. (Yes, I am aware that I used a cliche right there. That was the point) Her job in this speech was to talk about Barack Obama the family man and to show us where his desire to serve is rooted. She did that magnificently.
Even her delivery was perfect. I didn't feel like I was being sold Barack Obama. I felt like she was having a conversation with me.
Good job, Mrs. Obama!!!
