As we get closer and closer to HCR,some Dems,especially Senate Dems,are waffling. Yesterday it was Lieberman. My anger at the handful of Dems,including Sen. Baucus,who have dragged this out is reaching the boiling point. We Dems were exhausted after the last election. I fear that we wll be exhausted going into the next election. Even our Dems in Congress are out of touch with those of us on the ground.

Not sure where or how it went wrong,but a big opportunity is being squandered. Healthcare Reform opponents are well-funded and organized. They've got the Blue Dog Dems running for political cover. Sad. It didn't have to be this way. It could still turn out well,but I'm pretty low on hope right now.

Up until right before the election,it was a great tool for us Obama/Biden supporters to exchange information and support/encourage each other in our campaign activities, Trolls/chummers/spammers/pagepushers have taken over and now it's useless. Sad.

Started making GOTV calls yesterday to Virginia after I got the urgent email for phone call volunteers. I was already tired but that email scared me. The calls made didn't show up on my home page but oh well. Stayed up until 3AM watching returns. Sure wish we'd picked up 1 or 2 more Senate seats. The voter registration and GOTV operations really paid big dividends yesterday. Thanks to all donors and workers. Almost too tired to celebrate. It hasn't really sunk in yet. Seems like things are already moving fast too. Not much time to celebrate. That's it. I'm spent.

For the most part,I like Sen. Obama's campaign schedule the last 4 days.

Indiana and Iowa today. NV,Colorado and Missouri tomorrow. A Midwest and Western swing. Iowa and Colorado have always been must wins for Obama. Looks like NM is safely in his column. He and McCain were both in Albequerqe last weekend. There were about 1500 at McCain's rally and 30-something thousand at Obama's. A Nevada win also for Obama will make it real tough for McCain to get to 270.

Sunday Obama has 3 rallies in Ohio.

Monday,Obama has rallies in FLA.NC and VA.

If he nails down IA,CO,NV and NM all he has to do is win one state among PA,OH,VA,NC,and FLA. Obama could win MO and IN and get to 270 without winning PA,OH,VA,NC or FLA. That scenario is doubtful but it's an illustration of how many ways Obama can get to 270.

Lots of Obama surrogates will be in PA in the next 4 days,plus Sen, Obama has Gov. Rendell,Sen. Webb and Sen. Bob Casey campaigning for him in PA. I think Obama is gonna get a coattail effect from Mark Warner in his Senate race in VA. He's way ahead of his GOP opponent. One last touchdown by Sen. Obama in PA would be nice but the calendaris short.

As far as I know,Sen. Obama has no more appearances scheduled there before Election Day. Sure would like to see him in squeeze one more appearance there on Sunday or Monday.

The lines in Harris County are incredible. It took me an hour and 15 minutes to get into the booth. There will even be early voting hours this weekend on Saturday and Sunday. Don't remember that ever happening before. Go Obama/Biden and go Texas Dems.
