I attended the Denver Democrats F.D.R/J.F.K Reception @Tivoli Turnhalle, Auraria Campus/Downtown last Thursday night as a volunteer with two other amazing volunteers. It was hard work but the feed back was extraordinary. Dr.Bob graciously purchased a hundred Obama buttons & a huge loot of bumper stickers to offer at our booth.

I will say our booth looked incredible!, Dr.Bob our campaign artist used his impeccable style & created graphics for us that could be seen the instant you walked into the room; it was truly unique! We almost ran out of buttons (yeaaa) & we had over 30+ official supporters show up proudly wearing Obama gear! We were received very well by the democrats who attended the event, & provided a lot of information to voters who were undecided. We were happy to volunteer our time to help set up & break down of this event; it was a great success!
Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered & or the new faces that stopped by the booth to educate themselves! We couldn’t have done it without you!

When will the Walk for change event scheduled for October 13th be posted as an event on the website? Is it going to be a "national" event or will each individual community need to create there own event?

Has the "Colorado Caucus Convention" event has been suggested to the local news stations/papers/radio stations for potential free coverage for the campaign?
If it hasn't I would be happy to call or e-mail the "tip lines" each station has set up.

Are you guys planning on adding these events on here so people can RSVP & or send e-mail invites to others. I think it would be a benificial way to track how many volunteer's we will have for the caucus event on saturday :D

Has anyone mentioned that Denver Pride is this weekend.. Is anyone thinking of going downtown for that? Link June 23r'd & 24th that’s this Saturday & Sunday. The booth's are all filled but there will be a huge amount of people down there this weekend.

You know how at certain parts of the highway there are pedestrian sidewalks that passover traffic? Well I think we should organize an event where we can meet up there. There is one on right before the 104th exit going north bound on I-25. Hopefully we can get a banner advertising the website & a group of us could stand up there with our rally signs & attract attention from traffic going north & south during a high volume of traffic.
Question: I know it's perfectly fine for us to stand on corners with our rally signs & wave to people but will there be any issues with us doing this above a major highway? let me know if you know.
If this event proves successful maybe we could do another one in august in the week before the democratic national convention.. email me :)
