It's time for us as individual citizens to call into question the intellect and motives of CNN. They have either intentionally ignored the point of the Senator's speech or are not intellectually astute enough to grasp it. They are contributing to the divisiveness in this country. This is serious business and they are playing games with it. Those of us who can see the forest are not going to settle for those who continue to prohibit us from moving forward by focusing on the trees. Let's put an end to this petty sensationalized journalism. CNN is choosing to keep this country divided, they are contributing to the problems. Our moment is now. Let's do what has been asked of us by Senator Obama.

This has always been one of my favorite quotes. I've seen the results of this philosophy become reality in my community as well as in a Liberian refugee camp where my daughters and I became involved. Let's put this into action - do everything we possibly can to win PA -- we can do this.

I realize the media is reporting that Obama's not carrying the support of white women. I am a 52 year old caucasion women, registered republican, and switched my party affiliation when I learned Senator Obama was running for president. I had been following him since 2002, hoping, (yes hoping of all things), that he would run.

Are tickets needed for the debate in Philly? How does one go about being able to attend? I got to meet the Senator when he was in Baltimore and it was one of the most memorable days in my life. He told me to tell all of you who have been phonebanking for him to thank you and keep up the good work.

What Happens When She Hangs Up the Phone?

The phone call came in during the month of March in the year 2002. Our children were 12, sound asleep, smiling, as Senator Clinton adequately depicts in her recent ad. She neglected to run the ad through its reality. This is what happened after she hung up the phone. Our children are sleeping permanently, as we know it, in Arlington National Cemetary; our children are now trying to cope with the incredulous devastation of war: physically, psychologically, emotionally; and many of our children are scared beyond imagination right now as I write this blog. George W. Bush got the call, and rallied the House and Senate for advice -- Hillary Clinton, a self proclaimed experienced candidate ready to take that phone call, basically took the call, hung up and blindly woke those sleeping children and sent them straight to hell. Where is Hillary's child right now? A posh hotel getting a manicure perhaps for her next campaign appearance?

MEANINGFUL CHANGE

It seems to me, if I can articulate this accurately, John McCain represents the very same in government we've seen for years, Hillary Clinton represents CHANGE as far as changing the Political Party in the White House is concerned, we Americans keep changing the Political Party in the White House to no avail, we are still no further ahead than we were when her husband was president on the issues of Health Care, Education, Economy, Peace, Environment, or any of the issues facing us. We are simply older, with less time. Somehow, we need to better explain what we mean by CHANGE. We mean Change in a way that is meaningful. We mean working together, republicans, democrats, independents, -- with that type of CHANGE comes the CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN, CHANGE that will be tangible. CHANGE that will move us forward by resolving the age old issues still facing us and, by having done so, making us stronger together to confront those yet to be seen.

Ironically, my daughters are now 24 and 22, and my family, and yours, are facing the same issues we faced when I first began teaching this philosophy to them - they were 5 and 7 at the time. Changing political parties hasn't worked very well, nor has negativity, polarizing, or "throwing kitchen sinks" when it comes to solving things. It wins media coverage, a couple of contests, a few battles -- as Americans, we need to think about winning the war -- and I don't mean in Iraq, Hillary can win some battles, can she win the war -- the war is encouraging, allowing, all of us to work together to solve the problems of yesterday and today so they do not become our problems of the future again.

Let's go win that war by getting Senator Obama's message communicated in a way the American people fully understand. If they understand it, they will embrace it.

Deliver Texas, Ohio, Vermont and Rhode Island

"The fierce urgency of now" -- this is the day we need to sign, seal and deliver Texas, Ohio, Vermont and Rhode Island. Let's send a strong message to Senator Clinton that we want her to get back to work as a US Senator allowing Senator Obama to focus on winning the general election in November. Our tax dollars are paying for three US Senators to campaign rather than performing their Senatorial duties. Today is the day to narrow it down to two. This campaign has gone on long enough. Let's make as many calls on Senator Obama's behalf today!! We can do this, we can make this happen TODAY!

Low Turnout in MD -HELP

I just returned from voting and the turnout is 22%, very low!!! Hit the phones everyone. Marylanders traditionally don't vote in inclement weather and we have some snow and sleet here today. Please help us polls are open until 8. Thank you!

Baltimore Today

I am so glad someone asked to hear from someone in Baltimore who was there today, I was not only there, but I got to talk to the Senator, had a chance to tell him we are phonebanking Texas, He thanks us and told us to keep up the good work! I am so excited, I got to sit just behind the stage, one of the few who got signs, it was awesome!! So let's keep making those phone calls!!! They are calling for lots of snow here in Maryland tomorrow, I am walking from 10-2, I hope it doesn't deter voters, unfortunately in Maryland it sometimes does.

I encourage you to look at the record, you are misinformed, as are many of Senator Clinton's supporters. Facts are: Senator Clinton sponsored 352 bills since Janauary of 2001. TWO were enacted. Her political experience dates back to 2000, Obama's political experience dates back to 1996. Senator Clinton has the ability to spin things very well. Senator Obama has the ability to unite very well. We need someone who can unite both parties so we can get past the gridlock and actually accomplish something. We basically have the choice to elect a president who can spin things or one who can unite people. Senator had the chance to resolve the Health Care Issue in this country years ago and failed miserably. You have already voted in the primaries. If you change your mind after looking at the facts, I encourage you to call a few friends who live in states that haven't voted yet and encourage them to vote for unity over spin.
