My name is Asher Heimermann, 14, from Sheboygan, Wisconsin. I am supporting Barack Obama because I believe he is the right candidate to bring the change we need. I know that Senator Barack Obama and Senator Joe Biden are best prepared to address our economic crisis by bringing tax relief to working families, protecting American jobs and investing in education and new technology. As a student in a public high school in the Midwest, I understand the importance of education and how my education will lead to my career later in life.
Senator Obama has dedicated his career to bring people together to tackle the large issues facing our country. As a state Senator he worked with Republicans to expand healthcare to 150,000 children in Illinois and passed $100 million in tax cuts for working families. In the United States Senate, Senator Obama worked across the aisle to pass ethics reform leglation that was described as the "gold standard" for ethics reform. He worked with Republican Senator Richard Lugar to pass legislation to secure dangerous nuclear weapons.
As President, Senator Obama will bring the change we need and make this economy work for the middle class families by cutting their taxes and reducing the cost of gas and healthcare. I support Senator Obama and Senator Biden because I want America to be the country of hopes and dreams. I hope that you will join me and support Barack Obama and Joe Biden on November 4th. Time and time again, Senator Obama has proven himself as a leader who can bring together people of all different backgrounds and beliefs to help us address the important problems facing the country. He is the type of leader we need in Washington to get this nation on the right track.
If you’d like more information about Senator Obama or Senator Biden’s positions or would like to get involved in our campaign, you can call 1-866-675-2008 or visit www.BarackObama.com. Only you can decide who our country’s next President of the United States of America will be.

Once again, I've got some very good news to share with you all! I've been able to reached my $5,000 personal fundraising goal for Senator Barack Obama and Senator Joe Biden last week. As of this point in time, I've raised over $13,000. Like I said last week, I never thought I would be able to raise over $5,000 on my fundraising page, much less, reach my goal before the deadline that was last week.
I would like to thank all of those that have donated to my personal fundraising page on BarackObama.com because it means so much to me, and I'm sure it means a lot to Senator Obama and Senator Biden. I wish that there was something more that I could say. But, I believe I have two thank you gifts that you might enjoy:
Again, I want to once again thank everyone for their support and donations! If you still want to make a donation to my personal fundraising page, please feel free to. Just go to my.barackobama.com/asherheimermann and make your donation there. It would be great to see this community community help me get up to $15,000 before Election Day.
Right now, I'm at the Sheboygan County Democratic Headquarters making calls and putting together lawn signs. I don't have much time to talk this afternoon but I will try to come back this evening. But in the meantime, will you please make a donation to my personal fundraising page to help me reach a grand total of $15,000? If you can't make a donation, please share this with your friends and family and ask them to make a donation. Not only will you help me get closer to raising $15,000 - you are also helping Senator Obama and Senator Biden.

Go Obama! Go Biden! Go Democrats!
Let's be very clear about what's at stake this November. We're either going to get ourselves back on track or we're gong to face another round of the same failed policies we've had for the last eight years.
I don't know about you, but I'm ready for a change. That's why I'm so excited about Senator Barack Obama.
So, here's what I want you to do. Click Here, and join me in making a contribution to elect Senator Obama this November. With the support of hundreds of Democrats across the nation, I have already raised $4,400! I still need to raise $500 more to reach my fundraising goal.
I believe we're about to elect one of the greatest presidents in a long time -- Barack Obama. But if his campaign is not funded until Election Day, his agenda to help middle-class families is going to run into a roadblock.
I know that politicians are constantly asking for your money and support. But you have to remember that Senator Obama is not a career politician. He's a man who knows what America needs are and knows what he's fighting for. And, with our help, he'll be a President we can be proud of.
Midnight Tuesday, September 30th, is the financial reporting deadline for this month. The resources we have on hand going into October will determine our ability to compete in key battleground states. Your donation today will help fund time-sensitive voter registration and Get Out The Vote operations.

John McCain can't win this election by running on his experience as a Washington insider who voted with President Bush 90% of the time. So now he's trying to claim he's the candidate of change. The fact is, while John McCain mouths the word "change," his record and his platform scream out for more of the same.
Americans need change now, and Senator Barack Obama and me need your help to get the word out about this movement. In the coming days, it's going to be up to you to organize locally and reach the voters that are going to decide this election.
Now's the time to make your voice heard. I've made my voice heard all across America in the last months by making calls and spreading Senator Obama's message of change. Please make a donation of $5 or more right now to support this campaign for change:
I know that in the past, I've asked for My.BarackObama.com users and fellow Barack Obama supporters to donate to my personal fundraising page but sadly, many of you have not even made a donation. I'm not asking for you to make huge donations, I'm just asking for $5 or more to help me reach my fundraising goal.
The September financial reporting deadline is on Tuesday at midnight, and we have an opportunity to show that a campaign funded by ordinary people can go toe-to-toe with the Washington lobbyists and special interests lined up behind John McCain and the Republican Party.
Most of you already know, but for those that don't, I'm a high school freshman in Wisconsin. I've donated so much time to Senator Obama, his campaign, and the Democratic National Committee. I can't vote for another four years but I'm counting on all of you to make the right choice on November 4.
I would like to share a 15% discount at the official Barack Obama store.
I knew Democrats would give generously to my personal fundraising page on BarackObama.com to help me reach $5,000 fundraising goal and my efforts to elect Barack Obama as our next President. I am truly astonished by the response I've had over the last few month. With one month left to reach my fundraising goal, I still need to raise $1,000 more.
In the next 48 hours, I want to have 20 new donors to my personal fundraising page on Barack Obama's website and raise $300 by this Friday night. As a member of Senator Obama's Grassroots Finance Committee, I need to raise $2,000 by November or my fundraising goal could fail. I did not fail on my first goal and I don't plan on failing on my second goal.
I'm working hard to change not only our country but the political process itself by pursuing a personal fundraising goal for Senator Barack Obama's presidential campaign. This is about more than just supporting the campaign. It's also about making a statement that ordinary Americans working together can make a real difference and change Washington. As a teenager in high school, I can't vote but I want America to vote for a candidate that will lead America in the right direction and will unite Americans in a time of neeed.
The September financial reporting deadline is coming in about ten days, and we have an opportunity to show that a campaign funded by ordinary people can go toe-to-toe with the Washington lobbyists and special interests lined up behind Senator John McCain and the Republican Party. We also have an opportunity to show that teenagers can be involved and make a difference. Will you take a moment to check out my fundrasing page and consider making a donation?
All contributions goes directly to the Obama for America campaign. I'm a member of Barack Obama's Grassroots Finance Committee. As a member in good standing, I need to raise $2,000 by November. If I raise that amount, I will reach my overall fundraising goal of $5,000 for this campaign. I understand that I can vote for Senator Obama and Senator Biden but I'm putting a lot of my time into this campaign. I've made many calls. I went door-to-door. I've hosted events. And finally, I've raised over $3,000 and hopefully $5,000 soon. I would like everyone's help to reach my goal. Can I count on hope and your support?

We'll hosting two events in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, for volunteers and supporters to attend. The first event will be at 1:00 pm and th second event will be at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, July 9th. We are holding a National Day of Action for an Oil-Free President. With local outreach events at gas stations around the country, we'll make sure voters know the facts: John McCain's campaign is run by oil lobbyists, it's funded by oil companies, his policies are straight out of Big Oil's playbook, and he won't solve our energy crisis.
If you would like to learn more information about these two special events or to sign up, go to my official website at www.AsherHeimermann.com and look for the "Campaign For An Oil Free President" link. We are looking for about 10 to 15 people to attend each event but anyone that can attend is more then welcome.
Just letting you know that a new Obama for America Campaign Office has opened at 1225 Erie Avenue in Sheboygan, staffed by five field organizers, including myself. Come in any weekday from 10 am until 8 pm. You can call 920-918-0879, or send an email to me at asher@asherheimermann.com to learn about how you can get involved. Currently we are looking for people to:

Senator Barack Obama has outlined the fundamental choice in this race: He believes that the catastrophic failure of the Bush years has led us to a moment where it's not just Democrats who are listening to what we have to say, but Independents and Republicans. Thats why this election is a chance to turn the page by offering the American people a fundamentally different choice in 2008 - not just in policies, but in leadership style. The other top candidate in this race has run what Washington would call a "textbook" campaign. But the problem is the textbook itself. It's a textbook that's all about winning elections, but says nothing about how to bring the country together to solve problems. It encourages vague, calculated answers to suit the politics of the moment, instead of clear, consistent principles about how to lead America. It teaches you that you can promise progress for everyday people while striking a bargain with the very special interests who crowd them out. When Senator Obama is the Democratic nominee, his Republican opponent won't be able to say that he was for the war in Iraq before he was against it; or that he supported an extension of the Iraq war into Iran; or that he supports the Bush-Cheney diplomacy of not talking to leaders we don't like. And his Republican opponent won't be able to say that he flip-flopped on something as fundamental as whether our nation should use torture because his answer has been clear from day one - never. Senator Obama is in this race because he doesn't want to see us spend the next year re-fighting the Washington battles of the 1990s. He doesn't want to pit Blue America against Red America, he wants to lead a United States of America. He doesn't want this election to be about the past, because if it's about the future, we all win. If this election is about whether or not to end this war, or pass universal health care, or make college more affordable, it won't just be a Democratic victory; it will be an American victory.

Everything we've worked for paid off last night. A decisive victory in North Carolina and an incredibly close race in Indiana should remind us that every vote matters and each voice can make a difference.
In less than two weeks, you made over a million calls and transformed the outcome of these highly contested states. With just a month to go until the final primary election, we have a clear path to victory -- but we can't do this without you.
There are six remaining contests and you can get started calling for change now:

Please join us this Thursday, May 8th, at 8:30 p.m. EDT for the Call Team conference call and find out how the calls you make can help lock up this nomination.
