I watched Obama's 2004 speech, again, and I don't know why but I should have known that even then this man was destined for greatness. I did see the speech in 2004 but I really didn't listen to him. I am really enthused about the years to come because I know that Obama is going to make us all proud. I just hope that Obama will run again and he will take another victory.
This administration is going to be the best administration of my life. This I know to be true because when I watched Obama's first press conference today he was flawless. He did not appear too serious, but he did let you know that he was ready to take care of business. Also, I find it thoughtful that Obama has another site that you can readily access and express your opinions about the administration, and what direction you feel this administration should be headed in. So I feel really good about the abilities of Obama and Biden they are gonna be really good for this country.
This is our moment, this is our time! I am so excited about this race I just cannot wait. I am going to a party tonight at 9:00p.m. and we are going to watch the results come in for as long as it takes! This is going to be a historical night for America no matter what people say! I'm sure you can tell just by reading this that I am overly excited, too estatic, and a bundle of enthusiasm. Barack is going to win this election and I am so happy for this country because after eight years Americans deserve a good president. So if you have eased on making your phone calls keep dialing those numbers to get out the vote, and if people claim that they have no ride to the polls give them the hotline number that will be able to transport them to the polls and LET'S DO THIS DEMOCRATS!!!!
Dear Barack,
I just heard the news about your grandmother and I am so sorry. This may sound cliche for you because I am sure tons of people have been sending their regards to you during this unfortunate event. Just know that your grandmother is always looking down on you smiling, and she is so proud of the person you have become.
Angela
Dear Sen. Obama,
I just recently heard the news on television that you will be off the campaign trail for a few days because your grandmother is ailing right now. However, just know that God will take care of her, and you as well, and the two of you will be in our thoughts and prayers. Also, while you are visiting your grandmother your supporters have not forgotten about this election, being that it is days away we are working harder than ever and again have a safe trip.
I am calling people using the neighbor to neighbor tool and when I ask them who they have decided to vote for they will say without hesitation, "I am undecided". I can't fathom people being undecided this far into the election cycle. All three debates have aired, and all the literature concerning the candidates is provided to voters via the internet or by flyers so my question is, what is there to be undecided about? Also when I ask these voters if I can possibly clarify a fact to them which will help make their decision easier they will say, "no, I have all of the information I need?" If you have all of the information you need then this should not be problematic. But anyway democrats, keep up the good work and keep pursuing change because we only have a few more days before the grand announcement of the president elect.
John McCain has failed his third interview with the American people. The differences in the two candidates were astronomical. Barack, as expected, was calm, cool, and collect whereas McCain was tempermental, off, and just plain weird. John McCain came to the debates looking for a fight and he did not get one...that must have worked his nerves. At times John McCain did not even answer the question at hand and he continuously interrupted Barack and the moderator, so obviously, this man skipped debating 201. I said before that if McCain could stomach the courage to bring up an issue about Barack it would be fully explained by Barack and it was. One of my favorite moments was when John McCain said the taxes for all businesses would be raised and Barack said small businesses are excluded in my plan..egg on McCain's face, that was rich!
But really I am suprised that McCain is not a proffessional debater..what has he been doing in Congress those 26 years? Not only did McCain mention Bill Ayers, which was totally irrelevant but he called the man "old and washed up", last I checked McCain was not 36. But that is McCain's battle not mine. He continuosly tried to push Barack's buttons and it would not work, you could literally see that McCain wanted Barack to loose his temper and say something detrimental, but as usual Barack just brushed that dirt off his shoulders.
Congratulations to you Senator Obama you have been the epitome of grace and dignity throughout this election; and thank you for allowing yourself to dream big dreams so that I may have a brighter future.
I am so excited about the debate tomorrow. I know that Barack is gonna finesse this one just as he did the first two. Some people I have talked with are concerned that McCain is going to bring up something that may prove to be detrimental to Barack's career, but I highly doubt that and here's why:
But anyway enough of the negativity. I can hardly wait to see Obama in action again. Obama is such an inspiration to myself and a lot of people for various reasons. So after tomorrow's debate, democrats we have a few more days to get more supporters and then it is off to the polls where we can speak and be heard. Obama/Biden '08
First, I just want to say that this campaign, for me, has been a ride like no other...but it is hardly over. Secondly, I know that Obama is as good as in the White House becasue I don't believe that the American people will subject themselves to another four or eight years of republican rule when we still feel the aftermath of the first eight years. But, having said that I am watching the poll numbers ,and I am so excited I just can't stand the anticipation of the days, hours, minutes, and seconds until the 16th of this month...it is going to be riveting and all Americans can celebrate good times once again. Barack has made this campaign seem effortless on his part, when we all know that it was anything but, and I really admire him for that ( I wish I could learn grace under pressure). So for the final days of this election democrats should keep going full speed ahead and everything will be GOLDEN. Obama/Biden '08
When I look at most of the disturbing and down right ridiculous images of war TODAY I have to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! Americans as a people should be LIVID that anyone wants to vote for a McCain administration. Clearly, these people have taken leave of their senses. I have never known anger and hurt until I saw a military veteran cry; that is absolutely insane!! We have the right, not the option or responsibility to live in peace and harmony just as sure as you are born into this world. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!! obam/biden '08
During this election Carolina blue is going to look more like royal blue. I just returned from canvassing and I must say North Carolina is looking pretty good for Obama. I went to a rally today and it was great. I haven't been to many political rallies, but I made the time to go today. I was concerned when an Obama supporter told the crowd that she voted in the primary election, but when checking her voter status later on she was told that she wasn't registered. So I am going to make sure that I am registered, and I am voting early because this election is too important in order to let something like the lack of voter registration decide who the next president is and I would also urge everyone else to follow up on their voter status, because we need Obama in the white house. I am so excited about this election. I have just finished another 25 phone calls to my neighbors and I am getting ready to go canvassing later this evening. I don't know about anyone else, but I feel that I have actually made a difference in this election as oppossed to just sitting idly by and complaining as things happen. During this election democrats are stepping up to the plate and saying, "we have had enough and we won't take it anymore" so for that reason alone we should give ourselves a pat on the back. When Senator Obama is sworn into office I want to be among one of the people witnessing the moment that I honestly feel like I was born to witness. Never in my life did I ever imagine seeing someone as passionate about humanity and its well-being , I thought that people of that moral fiber were not anywhere in the world anymore. But I guess every generation has that one person that everyone can admire, and Obama is ours. Obama/Biden '08!!!!!
