I have been a republican for the last 18 years. I have never campaigned for any candidate, but after a year of research and carefully considering all of the candidates, I have decided to support Barack Obama for President of the United States. It was strange to declare myself a democrat, I had to do this in order to vote in the primary elections. I am excited to support a candidate who I feel truly cares about this country. He wasn't born into a wealthy family and has had to work his way up. I have included a link that is truly a moving video.
