Want to spend a few moments talking up the possibilities of Obama for President. Spend a few words and moments looking at what it is to be a part of something historic. This blog is intended to create discussions and thoughts that further lead to the possibilities of america's next president. Hope and optimism, leadership and dedication for america's next day. As a conservative, active card carrying Republican, Antron 4 Obama is a personal statement. The team that is to be built will most certainly have their own name, their own personalities and their neighborhoods, however, being a part of Antron 4 Obama is a plural statement for all persons involved. Our goal is to do just that, get as many involved as possible not solely in nominating and ultimately electing Barack Obama, but more so for the civic participation, social revitalization and awareness. We all have a role to play. We all have goals we are looking to attain. I will need your help, I am asking for it now, and I will ask again. The cause is too great, the time is too significant. We cannot afford to "play" sides at such a time as this. I DO NOT agree with everything Obama stands for and nor do you. However, he is what we need. No doubt about that! The solutions to many of our ills, the hope of our next day in america, I believe lies within the brave and couragous heart of this Senator from Illinios. Trip Update December 4

Hello! Just a few short words for today’s update! As you know, we are set to depart on both, January 18th, 2009 for the Overnight Trip and January 19th, 2009 for those traveling on the Day Trip at 9pm respectively. After carefully reviewing the departure times it has been determined that it is necessary that motor coaches depart One (1) hour earlier. The NEW DEPARTURE TIME FOR BOTH DAYS IS NOW 8PM! The reason for this change specifically has been due to some concerns regarding expectant delays from excessive traffic as we approach the Washington, D.C. area. Current updates that we are receiving from the Department of Transportation Logistics Division, which is assisting Capital Police and the Inauguration Planning Committee is advising visitors prepare for possible and probable traffic delays. For those traveling on the Day Trip, we wanted to ensure unnecessary delays don’t compromise their ability to arrive and get in position with ample time and ease. Although the motor coaches are not to be held responsible for any missed events, in this case YesWeBelieve is making every effort to ensure your participation in these historical events. This one hour adjustment provides the additional time we may need in the event record numbers appear as expected in the district. You will be expected to take these delays into consideration at departure time as well. You will be expected to return to motor coaches at the designated time to ensure an on time departure unless you have already worked out transportation back to Atlanta. Motor coaches will be departing on time. It is being discussed that motor coaches will be given windows of departure to best control the flow of traffic. When we are instructed to depart, we will do just that. I cannot stress this point enough. Our next meeting: Scheduled for Sunday, December 7, 2009, 3pm, at Starbucks located at 1155 Mount Vernon Highway, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. THIS MEETING IS NOT REQUIRED AND IF YOU HAVE ALREADY ATTENDED OUR LAST MEETING ON NOVEMBER 18, 2008, THIS ONE WILL BE IDENTICAL IN NATURE. NO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WILL BE COVERED OUTSIDE OF THESE EMAIL UPDATES. This meeting is however intended to provide a meet and greet opportunity for those who have not had the opportunity to attend previously. Although you are not required to attend, you are always more than welcome to appear and join in with a cup of coffee. It is also a great opportunity for those of you who are interested in making cash payments on your balances due, as cash payments can only be accepted at our scheduled meetings. This is a Supporter driven travel group formed solely for the purpose of celebrating the Inauguration of our 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama. We are in this together! Trip Update December 1

Hello Everyone! Just a replay of some of the information regarding how to prepare on Inauguration day! Information regarding small children and the elderly is also included. An official list is attached of those things to bring and not to bring. Inside the EventMovement will be difficult inside the security perimeter. Please be prepared to stay within the perimeter and within your ticketed section for the duration of the festivities. What to WearThere is no official dress code for the swearing-in ceremonies. It is typically cold on Inauguration Day—normally 37°F—and often wet. Expect to be outside for more than three hours, to stand in line, and to walk for long periods of time. Dress in layers and wear a winter coat. Consider wearing comfortable shoes, gloves, a hat and a scarf, and bringing a blanket.In the event of rain, umbrellas will not be permitted within the security perimeter. It is recommended that attendees bring ponchos or rain coats. Extra consideration should be taken when planning to bring infants, young children, the elderly, or anyone with a weakened immune system. WeatherThe Swearing-in Ceremony is an outdoor event held on the West Front Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. Inauguration day is typically cold—normally 37° F at noon—and occasionally wet. Extra consideration should be taken when planning to bring infants, young children, the elderly, or anyone with a weakened immune system. A vast majority of attendees will be in standing room sections and should be prepared to be on their feet for several hours.Attendees should check the local weather forecast for Inauguration Day and plan accordingly. In the event of rain, umbrellas will not be permitted within the security perimeter. It is recommended that attendees bring ponchos or rain coats. ChildrenThere are no childcare facilities provided to attendees. Due to increased security and space constraints, strollers are not permitted on the Capitol grounds. RestroomsOutdoor, portable restrooms are located throughout the U.S. Capitol grounds. SecurityAll ticket holders are required to pass through security screening, including handbag inspection. Food and DrinkFood, beverages, and other amenities are not available within the ceremony perimeter. Do not bring any food item larger than a small snack. Thermoses are prohibited. Cell PhonesCellular phones are permitted on the U.S. Capitol grounds. Turn phones off or set to vibrate before the program begins. CamerasCameras are permitted on the U.S. Capitol grounds. Tripods and camera bags, however, are prohibited. TrafficLarge crowds are expected for the Swearing-in ceremonies, the Inaugural parade, and other festivities. Expect heavy traffic and road closings. Use the Metro.Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:

Firearms and ammunition (either real or simulated)
Explosives of any kind (including fireworks)
Knives, blades, or sharp objects (of any length)
Mace and/or pepper spray

Trip Update November 28

Hello Everyone! The theme for the 2009 presidential inauguration will be "A New Birth of Freedom," commemorating the 200th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth. The words come from the Gettysburg address, and express Lincoln's hope that the sacrifice of those who died to preserve the nation shall lead to "a new birth of freedom" for our nation. The theme is particularly appropriate in light of the historic election of Senator Barack Obama. We are scouring the websites as well as the fielding phone calls to narrow down and weed through the muck and get you the most reliable information regarding events for your time in the District. I encourage you to do the same to ensure you enjoy your visit and get the most out of this historic time. The basics however are as follows. MTV, BET, as well as every other major music network will be conducting live concerts and parties on the mall on Washington in the days leading up to the Inauguration. Many of which will be set for television crowds. Literally every television network will be hosting and conducting its own gavel to gavel coverage each day from the official kick off right up to the day President George W. Bush boards Marine One and helicopter to Andrews Air Force Base for his last ride to Crawford on Air Force One. The location of the lift off from the Capital building will be just as historic. Make sure you are there to wave goodbye to President Bush and Laura! Many events on the mall are historically free to the public, however this year President-Elect Obama has gone the extra step to ensure even more events are open and free to all of us. Just last week, the President-Elect made several decisions that will make that almost a certainty. First, he refused any outside support from major corporations who would normally exclude the small supporters from donating large amounts of money. Normally, as recent as our currently president, donors were permitted to donate up to $250,000 to the transition and the Inaugural festivities. However, Obama has capped that amount to just under $50,000. Also, Mr. Obama has opened the doors for small supporters to do just as we have done over the past 24 months and pay $5, $10 through the web in support of his Inaugural events. This excerpt taken from a New York Times article on November 25, “Although the cost of the inaugural is as yet unclear, Linda Douglass, a spokeswoman for the committee, said Mr. Obama expected to incur expenses that past presidents had not, because he wanted to make as many events as possible accessible to the public. “We’re going to explore all kinds of creative ways to open this up to the public, everything from the swearing-in to the events,” Ms. Douglass said, adding that the celebration would include activities elsewhere in the country. “This inauguration is more than just a celebration of an election,” she said. “This is an event that can be used to inspire and galvanize the public to act. That is what we’re aiming for.” The atmosphere will be that of a festive nature, excitement and hope. An open mind is helpful, as people from all over the world, not just our nation will be in attendance. Capture those moments with the disposable cameras that you will be provided and return with wonderful stories to both tell and show. There will be pamphlets from the Washington, D.C. Convention and Visitors Bureau with D.C. Metro rail information as well as events taking place in the metro area. Also, you will be receiving an official events listing from the Inaugural Committee informing you of all the sanctioned inaugural events, vendors as well as activities, a “things to do” of sorts. We will ensure that this information is passed out to you all leading up to the date of departure. Although we will do our best to keep you informed and up to date with what is going on, you are seek out some of this data as well. Do not wait for someone to provide this information to you. Once in the metro area, outside of those you are traveling with, you will need to rely on your planning and preparation as well.

November 27, 2009 Update

Happy Thanksgiving and a safe Holiday! Don’t want to take up too much of your time today, but instead to pass on some information regarding our hotels, our group policy with respect to those accommodations as well as some of our availability with the group on either our motor coaches and/or hotel stays. I believe this information is not only important to those staying over night, but also those who are riding up “Transportation Only” as well as those “Room Shares”. For you all who may not know what “Room Shares” is, this is also a perfect opportunity to understand all those who are traveling along with us on this historic and momentous Victory Day journey! Although we began this effort by putting hotel rooms together and planning to remain overnight in the Washington, D.C. area, we also made adjustments along the way to assist those who already had made arrangements by filling in some of the planning gaps. Hotel Overnights: Initially we blocked off (3) three hotels for our supporters. Locations in Alexandria, VA., Chantilly, VA., and Dulles, VA, which was just about 30 minutes away. Many of our early cancellations were in fact those supporters who were staying overnight, not our Day Trip Supporters. Since we were not acting or planning from a solely “For Profit” position, this allowed us to free up some of the rooms we had last month in Dulles. After those cancellations and we expected some, so we were not concerned at them at all, however that particular property, Fairfield Inn by Marriott-Dulles, required additional payment to further secure those accommodations. We could have done one of two things. (1) Scurry about looking other supporters who could pay immediately for their entire trip and by doing so risking the integrity and transparency of our support group YesWeBelieve or (2) let the rooms go and enjoy the wonderful group that is already set to go! My decision was to go with the latter. As of now, most of our Overnight Supporters will be staying at the Quality Inn-Alexandria. The address of this location is: 8849 Richmond HighwayAlexandria, VA. 22309 Other will be staying at: Comfort Inn-Chantilly, VA.13980 Metrotech DriveChantilly, VA. 21051 Before moving on to those other supporters traveling with us, let me add this, regarding this location and any other hotel locations. As contracted, we are traveling under a group name, please do not contact these locations seeking “Your Name Confirmation”. YOUR NAME IS NOT LISTED ON THE ROOM. THE HOTEL WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ASSIST YOU WITH CONFIRMATIONS OF ANY KIND. YOUR NAME AND THOSE TRAVELING WITH YOU ONLY APPEAR ON OUR GROUP ROSTER AND ROOMS WILL NOT BE ASSIGNED UNTIL AFTER DECEMBER 31, 2008 WHEN ALL BALANCES DUE ARE SUBMITTED. This is a hard deadline meaning we will not be permitted to move this scheduled payment to the hotels back any further after this date. Our contracts with them require full payment at that time. If you will not be able to make your balance due payments, we will have to extend alternatives to you which may include the Day Trip. As per the refund policy stated in the initial “We are on our way” letter, after December 31, 2009, no refunds of any kind will be paid out. By doing so, it would hamper the travel plans of the remaining supporters of the group. Many hotels as you could imagine regret allowing groups like ours to book and hold rooms in key areas of the city, especially now that the average room is going for $700 in Virginia and $1000 in Washington, D.C. (per night). Day Trip Supporters: You guys have been absolutely a pleasure to work with! Outside of rail pass update that went out earlier this week, you all are right where we need you to be in our planning phases. On Monday, we hope to have all the logistical information regarding the Drop Off and Pick Up locations for you as well as all the other supporters who will meet up with the motor coaches for departure. You all have asked great questions, keep it up! Transportation Only Supporters: These supporters have decided to take the road trip up and have secured their own hotel accommodations or are staying with friends! Many have decided to depart with the Overnight group on Sunday, January 18, 2009 and will return with all other supporters following the inauguration. We found so many people who simply could not get to the inauguration, however had accommodations. Although they are in D.C. for two days, they are only paying the Day Trip rate! This is a funny group because all they want to know is “where do I meet the bus?” Finally, our Room Shares Supporters are those who have absolutely no problems with sharing a room with unknown supporters. Each day YesWeBelieve searches the D.C. district for hotel cancellations with the hopes of scooping them up. The downside is the rates are usually extremely high. The upside, location, location, location! For $180, these supporters will have a key of their own and a place to lay their head and secure their belongings. This group, they just want to be there! With no more than 4-5 to a room, they have opted to share the cost of a hotel in D.C. or other locations with direct shuttles and conveniences. Room Shares Supporters are not necessarily traveling on the motor coach along with us, but rather they have contacted YesWeBelieve to broker this arrangement. Availability: As you could imagine, we are not accepting any new Overnight Supporters, nor are we seeking them. There are a few supporters who may be able to fill an empty space made available due to an overnight cancellation, however that is the extent of that possibility. Seats for our Day Trip are available which would further indicate the availability of our Transportation Only Supporters as well. Our Room Shares Supporters will be available as long as those local accommodations open up in key locales. Since our first meeting, I and my support team have done our best to keep you all up to date as well as informed as to the planning and information of this Inaugural Trip. November 26 Update

I get many emails and calls each and every day regarding our historical trip in January. Take a look at some of the photos I get from the Congressional Inaugural Committee each week. The photos track the building of the platform you will all see in just a few short weeks.

Construction on the Inaugural Parade Viewing stand has also begun and from two separate sources, it looks great! I will keep you posted on that front! Let’s talk business…I have begun canvassing the local help and providers of great souvenirs to make available to everyone. Several of you have made contacts available to me as well for the sake of finding those unique and classy items that would highlight this historic event. As mentioned previously, going forward at some of our socials, I will work to not only bring some of these entrepreneurs to bring attention to their business efforts but I will also make available to you some of these items that are available. Some talk regarding Inaugural fanny packs, towels and etc are being discussed just as early as today. We can all find buttons, but there are some items that are just hard to get to and we will make them available to you as well. Cancellations: As stated in our initial letter when we launched the vision for our trip “for supporters, by supporters”, our cancellation policy was discussed in great detail. Our efforts as a group was be as fair as possible to best ensure that all the supporters who were interested in attending could do even more than just attend, but rather at an affordable rate. We understand that things come up that are unavoidable and our hope is that those occurrences where possible can be minimal. We do however have to keep our policy as stated early on for the interest of those who are depending on the “group rate” to keep their expenses for this trip at a tangible level. Once your deposit has been paid, if balance not paid in full, the remaining balance must be paid by December 31, 2008. A percentage of your fees paid can be refunded prior to Campaign Victory Day (Election Day). Your entire amount paid, minus the initial deposit CAN/WILL BE returned at your request. After Campaign Victory Day (Election Day), 50% of your fees paid will be returned at your request should you decide that you are no longer traveling with us. After December 31, 2008, we CANNOT/WILL NOT be able to return any fees paid. It is at that time that all reservations for the group would have been solid and locked in with all fees accounted for. Although I will make every effort in good faith as you did, we ultimately will need to uphold this understanding. Thank you so much for your understanding. Keep in mind, we are not a travel company and are not seeking profit in this endeavor. So many of the essential elements that may come along with an organization of that sort, are not necessarily benefits of our grass roots support team. We simply are seeking to ensure supporters of the Campaign for Change and Sen. Obama are able to show their full support all the way through to the victory lap (Inauguration Day). Returned Checks: There have been a few returned checks, and I will be the first to say I am excited to say that we are appreciative that there are so few. However, for those that are returned, we will notify you as soon as possible only to better define your wishes and continued wishes. Things happen. We understand. However, be advised that any bank fees incurred by YesWeBelieve will be added to any outstanding balance due to your trip. Thursday Buses, seating and hotel accommodation information as well as current availability. Friday Events on the Mall on Washington. Things to See! Trip Update November 25

Hello Everyone! Wanted to once again provide some information regarding our Inaugural Trip in January 2009 which will assist you best in deciding what items to take along for your trip and those items we should think again about. Security will be unlike many of you may have ever seen and for good reason. Below, some things that may assist you in avoiding some check points and standing crowds. People attending the ceremony and parade on Jan. 20 can expect to be searched by machines, security personnel or both. Precautions will range from the routine - magnetometers like those used at airports - to counter snipers trained to hit a target the size of a teacup saucer from 1,000 yards away. Plus undercover officers, bomb sniffing dogs and air patrols.Be prepared for cold weather. Since 1993, temperatures on Jan. 20 in Washington have run from an average low of 27 to an average high of 39. The temperature dipped below freezing in 11 of the past 16 years, and only once did it go as high as 60.Many items will be banned from the ceremony due to safety considerations. These include: umbrellas; firearms and ammunition; fireworks; Knives, blades or sharp objects; Mace or pepper spray; Sticks or poles; pocket knives or hand tools; backpacks, duffel bags or suitcases; thermoses; coolers; strollers; laser pointers; signs; posters; animals other than service animals; and alcoholic beverages. Pack light enough to be able to move through dense crowds efficiently. Consider using a money strap to conceal your cash, credit cards, and ID underneath clothing (these are widely available at AAA and other travel stores). Have plenty of cash on hand to purchase water and food as needed—as well as any Inauguration Day souvenirs that catch your eye. As stated in yesterday’s update, YesWeBelieve will be providing you with One day pass for the D.C. Metro (rail system). This will assist you getting around the city more efficiently before and after the Inaugural festivities. For those of you who are on the Overnight trip, you will need to provide your own fare for Monday, January 19th should you decide to enter into the district as will most desire to do for the Martin Luther King dedication. Our advice to you is PREPURCHASE YOUR ALL DAY METRO PASS at the metro website to avoid standing in long lines on Inauguration Day). http://www.wmata.com/onlinestore/ Your day pass, other than the one we will be providing, will cost $7.80 per person for unlimited usage that day. This will be your better option, or you will have to wait in lines at the rail station behind many others to utilize the ticket purchase machines. Keep in mind, all the users ahead of you, will not know how to use this machine, neither will you. Trip Update November 24

We wanted to get some information out to you guys this week. Expect this week to receive lots of information regarding the Inaugural Trip in January 2009. To be included are some Helpful Hints on how to best enjoy the time in the district as well as some need to know information passed along to us regarding to getting around the city as well as participating in the week’s events. Previously, we were informed by the D.C. Convention and Visitor’s Bureau that motor coaches would not be permitted in the city limits and that the DC Metro Rail would serve as the best option for getting around the city. At that time, we were also informed that fares would be suspended permitting supporters and Inaugural goers to continue through the transit system without creating bottle-knecks. However that has now changed and suspension of these fares will not carried out. Instead, supporters will be required to purchase their rail passes to access this system. I am attaching information regarding the rail system including fares, however be aware that YesWeBelieve Atlanta WILL BE PROVIDING you with One rail day pass per paid supporter. This pass can be used on an unlimited basis for that day as long as you are in the district. Any additional passes or subsequent days will not be provided. The Washington Metro, the regional subway system, provides clean, safe and reliable transportation to almost all of the major attractions in Washington, DC and extends to the suburbs of Maryland and Virginia. Although it is crowded during rush hour and when there is a big event going on downtown, taking the Washington Metro is usually cheaper and easier than finding a place to park in Washington, DC. Metro is gearing up for the big event and has announced the following preliminary plans. Due to the changing nature of this event and heightened security, all information is subject to change. · Metrorail will open at 4 a.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 and close at 2 a.m. Off-peak fares will be charged all day. Rush hour service will be in effect (more frequent trains) from 4 a.m. to 7 p.m. Extra personnel will be on hand to help patrons get to and from the events. · Hours for the weekend will be: 7 a.m. to 3 a.m. on Saturday, 7 a.m. to midnight on Sunday and 5 a.m. to midnight on Monday. · You are encouraged to take it upon yourself to get any additional information regarding this rail system. YesWeBelieve Atlanta WILL BE providing maps of the D.C. district to assist in your navigating. Metrobus ServiceMetrobus will operate on a normal Saturday schedule. However, with the anticipated street closures around the National Mall and Pennsylvania Avenue for the parade, all Metrobuses will be prepared for detours. Bus customers are encouraged to plan significant extra time to travel through these areas. No vehicular traffic, including buses, is expected to be able to pass close to the U.S. Capitol, nor will vehicles be able to cross Pennsylvania Avenue. Location of Inaugural EventsThe Swearing-in Ceremony is held at the U.S. Capitol Building.
The Inauguration Parade begins at the U. S. Capitol and follows Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House. The Presidential Inauguration Parade is an American tradition honoring the newly sworn in President and Vice President. The event will include a procession of ceremonial military regiments, citizens' groups, marching bands, and floats. The inauguration parade is open to the public and will be televised so that millions of Americans can view this special event.

Location: Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Washington, DC
Viewing stands and bleachers will extend from 3rd to 17th Sts. Helpful Hint: Nearly 4 million people will be in the city observing these events. More than ever before for any time of event. Keep in mind, this will not be your normal parade viewing opportunities. If you are able to make calls and inquire about pre-purchased bleacher seating along the parade routes (limited number this year to ensure space for the large crowds), that would serve you well. Also, contact any restaurants along the parade route in search of making reservations during the parade time. Many of these restaurants have large windows and seating outside and on rooftops. Enjoy the parade, get a great view and be bit more warm than most. The parade heads down Pennsylvania Avenue all the way to the White House. Search for “Pennsylvania Avenue Restaurants” and just begin to call them. Some of our early calls have already shown that you will need to move quickly since some have already been booked or reserved. Additionally, consider in advance the sights you might be interested in seeing while in the district and further, contact the location if necessary to request information regarding reservations. This small research will go a long way and save you a great deal of time as well as assist in enriching your time and observance of this event. Trip Update November 18

Thank you to everyone who was able to make it this past Saturday for our Meet and Greet opportunity! It was great to put so many names that I have come to know with faces. It was a nice social time to rub elbows with other like minded supporters and laborers for the Campaign for Change! For those unable to attend, we did however discuss the limited accommodations locally within Washington, D.C. as well as surrounding states, Virginia, Delaware, Maryland and West Virginia! Accommodations are more limited than many experts can remember for this time of year. Although we have rooms available 60 miles away, that is not our desire to have any of you out that far. It clearly is not ideal as we would hope. So our efforts daily have me and team calling many local hotels for cancellations for previous blocked rooms and those who have just deemed at this point they are unable to attend after all. We are making the calls for you! So if you have already been told that you are out in Luray, VA, (60 miles), have no fear, we are working to ensure we get you all as close as possible. Just this morning, 3 rooms in Baltimore were secured. We had many questions answered regarding logistics of the motor coaches and the D.C. Metro rail usage. This will factor in our plans heavily as the information regarding motor coaches was released just last week limiting the road access in D.C. to cars only. No motor coaches will be permitted so we are putting together a pick up and drop off destination at one of the outside rail stations where you all will meet regardless of Overnight or Day Trip supporters. We all will utilize the same locations. That information will be passed on to you as we work out the details with that. Many of you have what we have coined “Frankenstein Travel Plans”. Those are not bad, however many of you are not departing Atlanta or Savannah with the motor coaches. Instead, you are arriving on your own or you are not returning with us to Atlanta. We have welcomed this for the sole purpose of ensuring as many of you would have the opportunity of a lifetime…and truly this is exactly that. As for you all, please make sure as we get closer to departure day, I and my team are fully aware of every detail so that we make all arrangements and preparations to best account for all supporters upon arrival as well as departure. We cannot afford to leave some behind that was not expecting to be left! We also discussed a NBC Photo project that we are participating in. This Atlanta local NBC affiliate would like us to take photos of our journey to Washington, D.C. So YesWeBelieve Atlanta, will be providing you all disposable cameras (Adults Only) to photograph your perspective of the Inauguration of the 44th President of the United States. These cameras will be returned to YesWeBelieve Atlanta so we can have them developed and prepared for NBC to use online for a photo documentary. Copies of your photographs will be made and sent to you for your own keepsakes as well. Your participation in this project we think will be a fun and memorable one. We will be making many officially sanctioned buttons, t-shirts and inaugural items available to you prior to departure date. We know that there are many vendors out there however; we wanted to make sure you all had an opportunity to obtain some of the official pieces that will be also made available in Washington, D.C. as well. At each of our next meetings, this material will be made available for you to wear now or later. For all who have responded well with your payment plans, A BIG THANKYOU! We are on schedule and on our way! Keep in mind the holidays will be upon us very fast and we want to make sure all of our resources are allocated properly. Thank you again for devout interest and support in this trip to further support our next president. We also discussed hotel arrangements and motor coach designations. Basically, we are attempting to ensure your family and your traveling party remains together. So provide me with a list (email it) of those who are in your traveling party/group. We will be sending that list out this week and I want to ensure minimum corrections are needed. We will ask that you look it over closely to ensure names and minors traveling are listed properly. This is very important! So as soon as you get that next update, get back to me if there is something that is not right. In the mean time, if your traveling party has changed in anyway, even if we have discussed it, please forward that email to me at kantronj@yahoo.com so that I can make sure we get the list as close to right as possible before we send that out! Thank you with that! For all of my “Transportation Only” supporters, I will provide for you a location, most likely the same location for the other supporters so that you can arrange additional transportation to take you further on to your final destination. Once the actual D.C. Metro rail location has been determined, I will get that information out to you. That should be coming within the next week or so. Keep in mind you do have the option of leaving on January 18th, 2009 with those who are staying overnight. Many of you are staying with friends in the district, and we most certainly welcome that, however just want to make sure you all are kept in the loop as well. For those “Transportation Only” supporters who DO NOT have accommodations lined up already, we encourage you to depart on January 19th with the Day Trip Supporters. We are no longer soliciting supporters who are interested in purchasing Overnight seats on our motor coaches. However, as rooms become available, we will make that available first to you all. If a friend or member of your family would like to take part at that time, that would be a great opportunity, however, any blog postings or updates on mybarackobama.com will only be making the day trip available. That trip is $175.00 with a $75 deposit. The deadline for payment is the same as that for all balances due, December 31, 2008. Finally, so many smiles and happy faces were there on this last Saturday. We could have clearly taken over that Starbucks! It’s a great time in our country and we truly have a spirited group!
