I founded White Dudes for Obama to protest an ugly rumor being spread by the corporate-owned media. Since New Hampshire, they've been suggesting that Senator Obama is the "black candidate" in an effort to downplay his appeal to all voters, particularly whites. I wanted to challenge this narrative because it's meant to discourage the electorate from rallying behind an anti-lobbyist and true champion of the people. He will not only win the white vote in the general election, he will unite all groups of all colors and creeds that make up this great nation and put the government back in our hands where it belongs.

White Dudes for Obama is a movement within a movement that denounces the media's exaggerations of hate and racism. We are here to make a statement. We want to be counted. The 'Bradley Effect' has no effect on Barack Obama. Help us prove the media wrong by making this donation drive one of the strongest in the campaign, right up there with the professional bundlers who raise $50,000 - $100,000 from celebrities and CEOs.

White Dudes for Obama want Senator Obama in the White House. The establishment wants us to believe that racism will defeat the Obama campaign. We will rise above the lies and exaggerations of hate. We are a nation of brotherly love and we love Obama like a brother. We do not subscribe to the notion that Senator Obama can't carry enough white votes to win the Presidency. On the contrary. White Dudes for Obama love Obama and we will defy the stereotypes that divide us. We will prove the cynics wrong. Let's spread the word that white support is strong.
