The people of Iowa have shown that despite your background, honesty,hardwork and forsight can be rewarded aboundantly.

The Obama effect
Just when you think all hope is lost on the political front; not just in the USbut around the world, Obama presents profound hope. A testament to the fact that God has not deserted us.
Whether you like Obama or dislike him for personal reasons, you cannot fault hisgenuine desire to transform the lives of the ordinary people- that comes through 100%.
What is most intresting from my perspective, is that the Obama gospel on leadership responsibility and communial obligations will have a rippling effect around the world. The ordinary people around the world are watching, Goverments in Europe and the rest of the world are watching, a bench mark is being set for political responsibility and what it means to serve from an exulted office.
The world looks to American for leadership on so many fronts. Although it sounds parochial Americas political and economic stability is a common denominator for what happens around the world. Americans political stake is not just an American issue it is an issue for the whole world.
Political leadership is therefore a crucial component in determining Americas failure or success and by extention failure or success of Americans friends or foes. The world needs a stable and viable America, America needs a stable and viable world in other to thrive.
Obama and his team understand this interdependence - Let America once again provide the model for other struggling democracies or outright dictatorships. President Obama can provide the necessary leadership and political benchmark for this century.
