Predictably the MSM is not covering the president's economic speech today, when they do it's through misleading gratuitous comments that ironically Obama predicted in that very speech.
The speech is incredible because it shows a president in full control of the economic & political landscape explaining to a receptive nation how he is about to fundamentally remake the country's financial & economic architecture.
The media responds predictably as the mouthpieces of the powered interests of the current status quo who feel very threatened by a courageous president who threatens their decades long stranglehold on the levers of power & the economy

Obama is a kind man, in his inaugural he told them explcitly that the 'ground had shifted from under their feet.' Instead of looking forward, George Steph goes back to the toxic well that brought us, Lewinsky, Iraq2, Halliburton, Katrina, recession etc, instead of looking forward he looks back.
The only constant is change. Embrace change and you progress, embrace 'more of the same' and you regress. A case, our present day 'anchor princes & kings' fall over each other for tv ratings (which range from 800k-3mil) whereas they should be going after 'website hits'
