This person was actually a friend of a friend. She is TOTALLY a DIEHARD republican - so she thought - and was voting for McSAME wholeheartedly. EXCEPT, she did not really know where her heart was!!! Everything she mentioned about OBAMA, and she believed it, was a lie. So I told her to write down everything that is preventing her from voting for Obama!!1. He's a Muslim; 2. He's a terrorist; 3. He was not born in America; 4. He's going to raise my taxes; 5. He said white people were demons - it's in his book (she did not read the book - she read online that this is what was "in" the book.
I SAID - okay, now write down the reaons why you want to vote for McSAME. She said that the reason why she is voting for McCAIN is because what she heard about Obama..... Hmmm, I thought to myself - this is going to be EASY!!!
So you know I went through - step by step - all of her qualms and convinced her they were lies. THEN, I mentioned ALL of the reasons why she SHOULD vote for Obama. We talked for a long while and I felt her warm up to the point where she began to tell me reasons why she did not like McSAME/PA'IN - I feel good about this and even offered her a ride to the polls if she did not have one...... YES WE CAN!!!!
