Davie Day was a smash success here in Vancouver! We raised a ton of money, and registered around 100 people to vote today, including several in such key states as Colorado and Montana.

Today was a day of highs and lows. I'm not sure I quite get the Obama campaign's response in Bismarck to me. Maybe it was just the one volunteer I spoke with. I basically got shot down from volunteering.
On the other hand, I've now scheduled my first volunteer stop!

Hey there.
For those of you who may not know, but I have decided to embark on a voyage to canvass, campaign, and register voters across the west in such key states as Washington, Montana, North Dakota, Colorado, and Nevada.
Well, today I got myself a departure date. 12 September, so that I can make it to the Spokane County Fare. Now I just have to raise $500 dollars or a lot of bus fares, fast. Any ideas about how to get started?
