Dear Obama Family:

I was shocked and dismayed to find out that insurance companies have proposed changing the law, patients that have underwent a mastectomy (removal of a breast) to treat aggressive types of breast cancer will be sent home the same day.

This is outrageous. The patients are still groggy from anesthesia and are in a fragile emotional state.

Please go to Lifetime's website to sign a pledge that will be presented to Congress.

We all had a similar opportunity when the Insurance Companies initially proposed pre-existing conditions.
