Where to begin, ah yes... universal health care, this issue has been in debate since George Washington one of our founding fathers. Then there is Medicaid “socialized” (BOO! I hope I did not scare too many of you with that “evil” word) health care. By the way this particular “socialized” health care was passed by, a Republican President. Social Security - which the government borrows money from, does not pay it back, and then tells us S.S. will run out approximately in 2020. Sadly, to state, B. Clinton has used the race card on several occasions and dares to deny it. Geraldine Ferraro as well as others used the race card before the Pennsylvanian primaries. She tried to reverse it by stating, she was the one discriminated against because she is white. She later “quit” H. Clinton’s campaign and I use the word quit loosely because I do not know whom to believe anymore due to Mark Penn (which is another topic needing more serious discussion).
Thus far, H. Clinton has allowed others to do her dirty work for her.Recently, just prior to the West Virginia and Kentucky primaries, H. Clinton spoke. Stating, I have a much broader base to build a winning coalition on. She as well stated she has support among “white” working, hard working Americans. White Americans is weakening against Barack. She then stated how “whites” in both states who had NOT completed college were supporting her. Yes I would agree with the Clinton’s and their campaign, there is a pattern emerging here, which would be you, the “Clinton’s”, your campaign, and a few select others that ARE THE ONE’S INJECTING RACE INTO THIS CAMPAIGN AND FEAR MONGERING TACTICS. I find this to be so incredibly LOW and SAD.

Why is the price of OIL so HIGH? Let us begin with the fact that the U.S. of A., buys our oil from Canada (#1), secondly from the Middle East. The later disturbs me to no end, why are we not buying more from Mexico, as they EXPORT 85% of their oil. If we want the price we pay to go down I would believe it would be MUCH CHEAPER to buy more oil from Mexico as opposed to the Middle East. We would not have to put up with this "CHEAP" offer of .18 cents (federal tax) that McCain/Clinton want to offer the American people, which will equal to approx. $30.00 throughout three months. This how the Clinton/McCain "team" want to help us the people of the "UNITED" States of America? By the way STOP using OUR FOOD to "supposedly make oil cheaper"! I ask these questions to see how the rest of America feel.
I then question how McCain/Clinton dare call Barack Obama an Elitist and OUT OF TOUCH with the Middle and Working Class. I'm sorry, elitist and out of touch? By this point we have all seen ALL of their taxes, so who are the elitist within these three candidates? If anyone knows what the working and middle class are going through, more over than Clinton and McCain is Barack Obama. Besides his taxes, he and Michelle recently finished paying off their school loans and one other point, Barack has not been tainted by the "Usual" way our government has worked, even though this is what "the Clinton's" want, I for one completly disagree. Barack is the only one who will accomplish so very much with our help as well as with the people he chooses to be a part of his team as President.
Regarding "ELITIST" as one other point, what about when "the Clintons" made light of Barack's wins and let us not kid ourselves, when B. Clinton injected race into the picture as well as Geraldine Ferarro (she as well as others did this in Pennsylvania). Barack is NOT out of TOUCH WITH the Working or the Middle Class, if anything Barack Obama understands US more than the other two. They may talk a good game at times however to state it bluntly they (especially Clinton - who loves to play pretend) do NOT have a CLUE.
My last statement on this blog will be; Pennsylvania was Clinton's State and Barack closed the gap from 25 points to 10 (better yet by 9.4). I give Barack alot of credit for having done that in PA.

Well here we go again... McCain and Clinton "teaming" up (again) for this "Federal Gas Tax Holiday". 18.4 cents is what "they" are speaking of, approximately $30 within three months.
America, if McCain and Clinton truly believe this Federal Gas Tax Holiday is supposed to make us the American people happy, they are sorely mistaken. A $30 savings from Memorial Day to Labor Day, THIRTY DOLLARS FOR a FEW months. Frankly, I find this an insult to OUR intelligence. It is up there with this "lovely" Bush economic stimulus package, $300 or $600 per person, Bush wants us to spend it all, again out of TOUCH with The "United" States of America.
The OIL companies are still making profits in the BILLIONS as well others... Yet, we will get a McCain/Clinton break of $30. But they do NOT speak of what happens when OPEC and their little brother's and sister's the oil companies decide to raise the price at the pump - literally wiping out the "Wonderful" Federal "Gas Tax Holiday". Or OPEC and the oil companies will wait until this lovely "gas holiday" is over and increase gas prices once again, either way WE THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WILL PAY FOR IT!
Short term propositions are NOT the solution for a "LONG" term problem, especially when it comes to OIL! By the way, WHEN WILL the U.S. stop using oil? Now that the Winter is over - heating oil is down, therefore the price to fuel our cars skyrockets as does our electrical bills. No matter which way the American people turn, we are getting hit with astronomical prices.
Try contacting your local Utility company - THEY DO NOT HELP WHAT-SO-EVER, unless you consider them sending another company that offers, well let us simply state - NOT MUCH! Yet McCain and Clinton think $30 (for THREE months) is a great help. NO, it IS MORE OF THE SAME -- AN INSULT TO US ALL. Well at least for most of us, WE ARE realizing THESE lovely "offerings" are simply ridiculous!
I have a great suggestion for Senator McCain; the healthcare plan you are proposing to the American people, I would truly appreciate your acceptance of said healthcare plan. Not only for yourself but for your family as well. I "truly" appreciate that you would be so kind for giving us $2,000 (or $2,500 - I do not remember) per year for a single person and $5,000 for a family. How kind of you to allow the American people such an honor.
I wonder specifically, what Senator McCain and his family have as healthcare?

After today I would believe and hope the American people especially the media/pundits will STOP showing and stating Rev. Wright's words are those of Barack's and/or Michelle's.
If per chance there are some who still believe Barack needs to respond regarding this issue, I then ask those few, have you ever disagreed with your Religious party (congregation)? I for one as a Catholic have disagreed with my very own Religion and with certain aspects of the Catholic Religion. I have disagreed with some Priests, and frankly there have been a few occassions that I felt so saddened by some of their responses, because I disagreed with them.
Having said that I am still a Catholic, even though at times I felt like simply leaving the Catholic Religion. And, honestly is was due to one specific priest (even though I have not seen him in over 18 years). However he was honest, understanding and spoke with me like a HUMAN being.
Again, I say I believe most HUMAN'S disagree with their religion at one point or another. And I hope that the MEDIA NEEDS to start covering the true issues We The "UNITED" States Of America deeply NEED and WANT and DESERVE to hear.
I am currently watching CNN and there is a Republican on there, Leslie, and she is still bashing Barack Obama. Then I ask about Hagey and Parsley. As well, Wright did not speak the same as he did in front of the NPR. ENOUGH with the bashing of Barack and saying it is for political reasons, because at first he did not completly distance himself from Rev. Wright. To Leslie let's HONESTLY speak of John McCain's backers!

Let us remember that Barack stands for change, hope, enough of Old Washington and the Urgency of NOW. Therefore, I do not believe he should "fight" the way the other campaign does (The Clinton's & McCain). Stop listening to the media and newspapers that state Barack has to fight back or when is he going to start fighting, or when is he going to put on his punching gloves on, etc. NO! If he fights the way "they" all want him to so-call fight back, that is a MAJOR part of the Old Washington ways. He must maintain his gentleman qualities, integrity and intelligence. He will (as he already has) "fight" back however it will be his way and yes I am sure that he will continue to state facts against the other campaign, as his fight. There TRULY is NO need to get angry over idiotic lies and good for nothing game playing from the other side, What for? As long as it is not true and Barack has already addressed it what is the sense of stating it over, and over again.This is the way “Old Washington” has worked for decades. I agree that Barack should harp on their negative points however I mean, their true negative points. No more letting them off the hook; NAFTA - fix it - negotiate - make it work or bye-bye. Experience - more WAR from the other candidates. Stay on point regarding the issue of speaking with our enemies (they give a little, we give a little) and then we continue from there. Immigration - your way is the correct way and what you said, so eloquently at the last debate was dead on. The other TWO do not care about immigrants (Spanish ones apparently). If you were to speak to the Mexican President, I believe you could resolve so many issues. The economy - well "they" got us into this God forsaken mess with their hidden deals, yet they have allowed the middle, working, and poor class to sink.
Why do you think H. Clinton will not release her tax returns or the other papers stating so many wrong doings. Keep your cool, calm, yet strong demeanor going. You have brought us this far and we are willing to work with you no matter what they decide to throw at you. So let's join together and show "them" a contest unlike any other all the way to the end.It is time to give a little more truthfulness regarding the other two yet I know it, MUST be done in a way that keeps to those values and morals and honesty you speak of. Obama supporters do not get upset at Obama or Obama's campaign because "they" want to play dirty politics and he does not.

Patti,You are right on, this was truly set up to tear down Sen. Obama's character and Sen. Clinton was clearly in on it. She was too poised and trying to shine too much for her not to have already known what was coming, they tagged teamed him - like he said it was manufactured. The good thing is that it backfired on them. Sen. Obama is clearly about getting the work done and seeing results and he just won't play into their nonsense which shows that he will not waiver on his character and that his integrity will remain in tact now and once he's in the White House. Sen. Clinton, on the other hand, is showing American that she will spare no expense with the tactics that she uses to attempt to get her to the White House. So looking at both of them, just by what we all see, she's clearly the one that we wouldn't be able to trust because of what we see her doing throughout this campaign.

Yes, you are right as well. Another thing I noticed during that debate is that Barack kept bringing up the issues that We The American people want and need to hear about.As well I will bring up the point of the "bitter" issue, which he did correct himself and did appologize for the way he spoke. What about "ALL" (which were several) the times the Clinton's made lite of the States they oops she lost. I believe this should be brought up then as well. It was as if those States did not matter, now that is disturbing to me!
I cannot believe the Clinton's on one hand first say they want Barack to be Vice-President (when he was in 1st Place, as he continues to be). Then "they" put him down with false statements i.e. Barack wants her out of the race, when Barack NEVER said that, on the contrary. At the same time "they" the Clinton's continued to say he was not ready to be President... HMMMM... food for thought. Finally, regarding is Barack ready to be President she said three times Yes.
To the Superdelegates I ask the rest of you to truly remember who this Country has and continues to support, who has won the most contests, the most States, the most delegates, etc. You can wait until June or August to make your decisions, however I do believe the Country has made it pretty clear who We The "UNITED" State of America truly wants as our President. As I said I need to re-watch (only due to a part of my disability, otherwise I would properly speak of it now hower I cannot)
This is a post that I wrote under Political Machine (AOL) and I would like to share it with all of you.
Alright, I'll bite... Let us speak about their religion. Rev. Wright is NOT running for President nor should his words be mistaken as words Barack said. If one truly listens to what Reverend Wright said, as Americans we MUST & NEED to REMEMBER what this man has been through, and has experienced. His comments do NOT make him a "bad" man, Rev. Wright is speaking his truth and why are we not speaking of ALL the good he has done, not only for OUR COUNTRY for now two respectful points (MARINE) and for Africa (AIDS).
Now, I want to go a step further, why are we then not speaking of H. Clinton’s religion. Why because she meets behind closed doors with a Mostly, right-winged religious group within Congress. Doesn't this BOTHER ANYONE out there? In the Forum the other day she stated she is a Methodist and later on in the Forum she said she was/is a Judao/Christian? Personally I don't care if she is a Methodist & Judao/Christian(? however how can one believe in three religions?), I want to know about the behind closed-doors religion.
Some here say the Obama's are racist, are you listening to the words some of you are saying? They (The Obama’s) are racist? Wow, I simply find those comments rather arrogant and ignorant as a middle aged woman (white - for those who care). Then others say Barack is receiving PAC money, etc., since this is a H.
