What concerns me now is the blatant disregard Bush/Cheney have for US taxpayers.I cannot believe that this bailout has essentially turned into a $3 trillion dollar money laundering ripoff of our treasury.
This is the 2nd time.If I remember correctly,$3 trillion surplus disappeared with no investigation shortly after Bush took office for the 1st term.
That's 6 $trillion gone with no accountability.
How much healthcare would those monies have provided?How many scholarships?Who has been enriched by this fraud?

Everytime a democrat wins the presidency after republican rule,he inherits and has to fix a bad economy and treasury deficits?Why is it that the people switch back to republican after a democrat gets everything stable again?

Was a McCain plant.Joe the plumber was sitting on stage right behind McCain at the 2nd townhall debate.I saw him on a clip CNN played last night.The topic was not about Joe the Plumber......it was about whether or not the candidates were BSing us.They happened to use a clip of McCain speaking / answering a question at the 2nd debate.It indicated he was not being truthfull,btw.
The point is.......Joe the plumber,only recently came to media attention.

Not too long ago McCain said he didn't agree with the idea of helping homeowners that were caught in the ARM crisis.He said they made a foolish decision and didn't deserve any help.
I agree.....taking an ARM was foolish.But it was criminal for banks to offer these products and criminal as well as disastrous for government to allow it.
Now in desperation McCain is singing a different tune. He now says he wants$350 billion to help Americans restructure more affordable mortgages.

One way people of America will get educated is by serving their country in exchange for higher education.That means our military will be stronger and there will be less ignorant military personell.
This is not the only way Obama will provide a way to be educated,but it is one way.

the machines here are not taking all ballots faceup and frontward as they are supposed to.Another problem here is they won't even look at your voter registration card.They need to swipe the magnetic strip on your license.

I went and voted early here in Port Charlotte Florida,just one of many Republican dominated towns down here.
I couldn't get my ballot to run through in the correct manner....front side up and in first.Of course there was someone there to assist me while violating my voter's RIGHT to PRIVACY!
We were finally able to get the tabulater to accept my card from the "ass"end of the ballot.
After about 10 tries the correct way.
This state is republican corrupt,and I go on record now,just in case a similar problem as "Gore" 2000 should happen.
Why are diagnostic tests so costly?
When I had a stress test done 2 years ago,it cost $2500.00.I got to taking to one of the techs.He informed me that the equipment cost about $1.5 million if you bought new.
The morning of my stress test there were around 40 patients.this clinic had the stress test twice per week and 40 patients were typical.
The compny that performed these tests operate 6 days per week.6x40= 240x$2500.00=$600,000.00,per week.
Cost of diagnostic equipment entirely paid for in 3 weeks of operation.okay I realize that the personell and insurance and iv etc. all cost additional.....but let's say 3 months of operation takes care of all the overhead.....we're still talking about a$24 million profit.
Now translate this into all the medical facilities across the nation inall the nuclear and radiology departments.
Now let's look at the costs we pay for medications.We still pay the same high prices for the costs of development,long after those costs have been recouped.
Something has got to change!
