Many Clifton Park Obama supporters have worked through the Saratoga for Obama and Albany for Obama offices. There are supporters who find support in their efforts, and discussion of how to participate for Obama while also volunteering at the Gillibrand office (on Rt 9, near 146, SW corner by Hess). The Saratoga Dem Campaign office, right on Broadway houses Obama and Gillibrand supporters and phone banks, and there is communication between that office and the Gillibrand office in Clifton Park.
There currently are some stickers, buttons, signs available through the Clifton Park Democratic Committee, but from experience, it might be wise at this point in time to put a sign only where you can babysit it and/or to wait until just after Halloween to place it. There typically are many, many disappearances of signs on Halloween.
It is a wonderful campaign season and with luck and hard work, we will have representatives at all levels that will support effort to move our country toward a bright future with the leadership of President Barack Obama!
Many thanks to all persons that have volunteered in any way possible. It is you that are taking reponsibility for the future by being active and vocal citizens. I hope that each of you finds a way to keep the effort after the election, it has always been citizen participation like yours that has helped to keep representation informed and accountable and encouraged others to see the importance of civic reponsibility.
