Proof Visibility Matters

I was at a hardware store today, wearing my Obama button as usual, when a man ahead of me in line asked what I thought about the speech Obama gave yesterday. We spoke for a few minutes and it was clear that he was an undecided voter and he said, y'know- I see more people with Obama buttons and shirts and signs then I do of Hillary or anyone else. It's impressive, it makes me think about who I want to support. " He went on to say that he would give Obama another look and learn more about what everyone seems to be so excited about.

This proves to me that visibility matters. It is another subtle but powerful reminder to everyone that as supporters, our numbers are large, and growing, and it gives people a little nudge to go check out the website, go check out the blogs, and get fired up!!

Edwards Dropping Out!!! CNN 1PM

EDWARDS DROPPING OUT! CNN will cover it at 1pm. CNN is reporting he will likely lean towards assisting Obama. I think this announcement is help already-it's blown the supposed "victory" in Florida straight out of the news cycle. Unless "god forbid" he decideds to back the opponent-this is already helpful.

My Letter to the Editor of Feb 5th States

If there were any questions before, the South Carolina primary proved this election year is not about race, or gender, income, age, red or blue- it is about change. America wants it and Senator Obama is positioned to deliver it. The Clinton spin excuses their loss on the basis of race but this proves how deaf she is to the voice of the electorate. Senator Obama won across race lines; he won across the lines of income, education, and even party affiliation. That is because all Americans, not only one subsection of this country demand change. On February 5th, Coloradoans have a chance to continue what began in Iowa and continued through South Carolina and for me the choice is clear. I want change. I vote for Senator Obama.
