There is a great video on youtube which explains how the Iowa Caucus works, here's the link!

Yesterday, 121 NEW profiles were created on this website.
That is 121 new supporters that we know of, how many new supporters were there that didn't create a profile on this website?
Already today there have been 49 New Profiles created! If I vow to help one new person to create a profile today, will you?
Can we double that and go from 121 yesterday to 242 today?
Remember, this is a way for the campaign to stay connected to the people who support Barack Obama for president
The Campaign is asking all of us from Wisconsin to help in Iowa.
Here's how you can help:
From the home page,
Go to the action center,
click on travel and let them know that you can spend either a day or a week in Iowa.
They want us to be there the week of the Iowa caucus.
I volunteered from Dec. 27th through January 3rd.
This is soooooo exciting, we can make a difference in the first state, as it is happening.
Also make sure to volunteer to phone bank, they will give you a list of Obama supporters from Wisconsin, for you to call and see if they would like to go to Iowa too!
Did everyone see this article that was written yesterday about our Close the Gap Fundraising?
It was titled
PEASANTS WITH PITCHFORKS
I think Ben thinks we are a bunch of Peasants!
This peasant donated $50.00 in honor of Ben.
Here's the link (make sure to read the comments and check out his update at the bottom of the article)

I Had never seen the "Fired Up, Ready to Go" Lady in the hat before. And it didn't look like she wanted to give the mic back to Barack, once she had it. She is Great!
This article will get you fired up and ready to go!
Someone should probably send this article to Chris Dodd, so that next time he is asked why he said, that he knew why, Bush wants Clinton as the nominee, he'll be able to refer to this article for his answer.

Today is Kobi's Birthday, our group administrator, he is 36 years old.
He has decided to spend his birthday, campaigning.
So to help reach our 3rd quarter goal and in honor of Kobi for all the work he is doing today and every other day, I donated $36.00 to the campaign through our Group Fundraising Thermometer.
To do this, I clicked on the thermometer, where it said donate.
I then had to send myself an email.
Once I got the email, I donated from the email.
That way the donation was credited to our group. (Kobi's group)

Have you seen the speech that Barack gave the other day in front of the SEIU Union members.
They are saying he hit it out of the Ball Park with this speech.
I told my Dad (a life long union member) about this speech and he said that he thought it may sway his vote over to Barack! He has been supporting Edwards, who to be fair, has also has done a lot for the Unions. The difference being Barack has made this kind of work, his lives work. John Edwards decided this was his calling, after losing the 2004 presidential bid . He knows that he needs the union’s support in order to win this time around., so he’s been courting them for the last 4 years.
It is a little long, but is well worth listening to. If you think it’s time for the people to take their Government back, then take a listen!
Pauline Beck introduces Barack about 23 minutes into the speech, so if you don‘t have time to watch the whole thing, start there, the first part is the union reps addressing the union members.

I emailed this to every single person in my address book, especially those who are having a hard time deciding which canidate they are going to support. I thought it was a great way to introduce him to my friends.

Before Barack's interview, Jon Stewart took a look at conventional Washington thinking and where its gotten us in the Middle East -- also a must-see:
