I love so much being a part of this. I have been viewing for some time now and I have been educated and inspired about politics like never before. I joined the campaign after listening to Senator Obama when this campaign began. I was so inspired that I waited in line for well over 2 hours when he came to CT in February. I have never donated or even watched any pre presidential speech or presidential as intense as I do now. My grandchildren are even involved and they are only 6 & 10.
This is about their future in ensuring that they have the GOD given opportunity in life to be whatever they choose to be. It is for my daughter, who needs Health Insurance and better wages so that she can pay her student loans. This is for me so that I can retire with enough to be comfortable for the long hours, years that I have enjoyed put into my work place. This is for my son, who unfortunately is incarcerated, but still has time to make it in life. This is for my uncle who is retired, but needed to take on a part time job to help to pay for his medication.
This is about US - A UNITED FORCE. My Faith has been restored, My LOVE for ALL of YOU will continue on... This is a most humbling experience. I have met many people starting in my own neighborhood, GOTV and it is wonderful to be able to talk about the issues that we shared all along, but not until NOW have we actually engaged other than just saying a passing "hello" It's turned into "what's new in OBAMA NATION." I have printed out the articles and shared my laptop to watch the videos. YOU are the ONES - WE TOGETHER "UNITED" are making the CHANGE for a better America - a better world; working diligently to make it happen and choosing Barack Obama as our LEADER and there is nothing more valuable than that!
