‘Big Brother’ database for phones and e-mails
A massive government database holding details of every phone call, e-mail and time spent on the internet by the public is being planned as part of the fight against crime and terrorism. Internet service providers (ISPs) and telecoms companies would hand over the records to the Home Office under plans put forward by officials.

Can it be any more clear just who Huckabee really is? After his remarks about Obama at the NRA meeting and his "supposed" apology, we "might" have forgiven him. Now we know that he meant what he said. May God forgive Mike Huckabee. His claim to be a minister of God makes him even more accountable to God. He will answer double for his actions at judgment day. No one who considered himself worthy to gain the Presidency would consider working with FOX. They have spread some of the most virulent trash on network and Internet sites. Shame on you Huckabee! If McCain taps him for Vice President, we'll know something new about McCain.

One of Hillary Clinton’s donors said that the former First Lady’s campaign was as much as $40 million in the red. In a conference call with major donors this afternoon, contributors were told by Harold Ickes, a senior Clinton adviser, that she was unlikely to pull out of the race until the issue of her massive debts was resolved. The New York senator has lent her own campaign at least $11.5 million. One source close to a major donor said: “It’s not about the vice-presidency or any other position she might get. It’s about the money – in particular the Clinton family money.” The Obama campaign might have to reach deeply into its well-stocked coffers in order to secure the full support of Mrs Clinton and her husband Bill in the November general election. But in a sign that Mr Obama believes a deal can be struck, he said at an event in Troy, Michigan: “Mrs Clinton has run an outstanding campaign and she is an outstanding public servant.
