Odd title, huh? Well, I am PRO Obama and am a Grandmother...bet you figured that out! I don't really do Blogs much I will make an exception here...Barack is the man with the plan, for seniors, college kids, every day Joes! I am a retired art teacher and married with 3 kids,1 grand. I sub and I do lots of other stuff like knit, crafts, read, etc. But I have managed to squeeze the senator into the little bit of free time I have left. I was never really politically involved (except during college...a hippie and flower child...wore a black arm band to protest Vietnam, Kent State). My son is a Poly Sci major and I think that got the old fires burning again! I will try to Blog at least once a week if not more often.April 22 will be here so soon...let's go Barack!

I am REALLY getting antsy...the polls are showing that the gap is closing...I am trying to understand why but the thought is always there that people are influenced by "race". It's late in the game and I hope we don't need a Hail Mary. If Barack doesn't win...I might just be done with politics...and I feel that I have only just started, with this campaign, with this candidate. I will NOT be very proud to be an American if McSame and Pal win. How can any hard-working, patriotic, and sane person not see that Obama is the ONLY choice? This IS the time...this IS the place...for Barack Obama to be president! If not now...WHEN?

Unity weekend report

This week end I attended two events. One was "Peace on the Street" and the other "Unity for Obama", both held in the city of Reading. Berks for Obama sold a bunch of buttons, met lots of new people, including new fellows and new voters, and heard some great music. I look forward to more exciting events in the next several months of the campaign. And I hope Sen. Barack Obama comes back to Reading!
