Barak Obama is a candidate that represents all of America, regardless of race, gender, religion, economic status, age or political affliations. He invokes an inspiration that touches our inner heart and soul. For once, we have a candidate that represents the truth when he speaks and discusses his ideas and policies for our country, yet gives the power to the people, not the corporations. He believes that America belongs to the people and not the Washington elites.
I have heard many folks say that he does not have the experience. Well, may I remind those people that the Bush Administration had many seasoned politicians with experience going back to the Nixon years and look at the horrible mess they have created in our country and throughout the world. Hillary brags about her 35 years of experience. Look at the wreckage and divisiveness the Clintons have caused throughout the course of their political careers. She is a very polarizing candidate that would lose in a general election, because the Republicans detest her. I would rather have a candidate that has not been jaded by the Washington crowd. I seek out a candidate that is truthful , intelligent, seeks changes in our dysfunctional government and stands with dignity and virtue. Barak has not been bought off for years by all the special interest groups like Clinton. We need a fresh, new face in politics. For the first time since the sixties, young people have an interest in voting and becoming involved with the political process. He respected his commitment to the DNC, not to campaign in Michigan and Florida. Unfortunately, Hillary claimed victory in those two staes and defiantly went against her commitment to the DNC and wants the delegates. That is just unbelievable! Barak showed his integrity to abide by his commitment. If Hillary was so worried about the poor voters in these states, she should have taken issue with it at the time this was at issue and decided upon by the Democratic Party.
One of the biggest issues I have is about the War in Iraq. I was against this war from the beginning. Barak Obama was against this war from the beginning. Hillary Clinton voted to give Bush a blank check for war-knowing very well that here were no weapons of mass destruction there, nor did Iraq have anything to do with 911. Thousands of people have been killed in this war for no reason, other than greed and political gain. She voted to go into Iran, rather than negotiate with a leader that is hard to deal with. Barak has said that it is important to talk with those leaders that differ from our values and ideas. Barak is not responsible for any deaths in Iraq-he thought it was wrong. Human life is important to him.
Barak is able to say he has made mistakes and is not perfect. No human being is. It gripes me that pandering politicians can not admit mistakes, but only talk of their perfection and great experience and how they will make everything perfect for everyone. That, my friends is a fairytale.
Barak does not promise everything to everyone-however-he promises hope and he has shown this to be true-because for once in a very long time-millions of people have HOPE. Hope that things will get better in our country. He evokes an emotion that we have not seen for a very long while. He says change is a long road, which again is true. he says we need to move forward and not backward-that is the truth.
The White House belongs to the people of America-not an individual president and that is the message I get from Barak Obama. We must all get out and vote on Tuesday and vote for the man that is for the people-BARAK OBAMA!

I wanted to start a women's movement for OBAMA in California. It is just absurd to hear the media say that Hillary has all the women's votes. She does not. I am a woman over 45 years old and very much care about what happens to our country. My biggest issue is that I can not vote with a clear conscience for some elite politician that voted for the war in Iraq and helped kill thousands of innocent women and children. Do they shed a tear in front of the camera for those people and our troops that have died? Obama was against the war in Iraq from the beginning. Obama represents a new face to America. He speaks the truth, which I can not say about the other candidates. I shudder to see the dirty politics of the Clintons and do not wish to see them distort Obama's integrity and ideas to improve this country. WE NEED A FRESH FACE WITH A FRESH VISION FOR THIS COUNTRY! I get criticized by women that just want to see a woman get elected president for the first time in history. Well, I want to see a person, no matter what their gender make a change in direction for our country. Obama is a very intelligent person and can make those tough decisions and pick cabinet members that will serve our country well. I do not want a person who has been around Washington for along time. Look at the current administration-Cheney and the gang have been in politics for years and look what they have done to this country.
